Jon Hamm's monologue on Saturday Night Live Season 50 Episode 18

Jon Hamm's monologue opened up with a joke about "springtime in New York," which he mentioned was "41 degrees and damp." He stated that he was honored to host Saturday Night Live and then discussed how he has been part of the show via various cameos.

"I'm so honored to be back here hosting. This is my fourth time. But it's been a minute. The last time I hosted was October 2010. But even though it's been a while, I've still been on the show a lot. In fact, I was checking my own Wikipedia, which I often do. And I found out that since then, I've made 14 cameos."

Listening to Jon Hamm stating that he had been on the show 14 times and had done that many cameos, the audience cheered for him. Soon, he turned that into a hilarious moment, as he stated he had been told that making a cameo is "even more special" than being the host.

Later, he noted that every time he gets an opportunity to be on Saturday Night Live, nothing "beats" that moment when he walks out and the audience goes wild. He then mentioned how sometimes monologue feels "aimless" and needs a "jolt of energy." The moment he said that, Kieran Culkin joined him on stage.

When Jon asked Kieran what he was doing in his monologue, he said he was making a cameo. However, Jon mentioned:

"I'm a huge, huge star and I'm doing really well all by myself."

Listening to him, Kieran apologized and told him that he would "make it up" to him. For that, Jon replied that Kieran could give him his Oscar.
