Bridgerton is ready to sweep us off our feet once again with its fairytale world of grand ballrooms, elaborate parties, intricate dresses, and obviously, a whole lot of romance. Season 4 is officially already in production, and fans cannot wait to witness the Bridgerton family’s romantic whirlwind.
This season will be led by Benedict Bridgerton, who is played by Luke Thompson. It will be another exciting journey as there will be more drama, mystery and of course, love will be in the air once again. Bridgerton Season 4 is inspired by the third book of Julia Quinn’s series, An Offer from a Gentleman.

Sophie Baek will await him at the end of his search for his mysterious “Lady in Silver.” Sophie Baek is portrayed by Yerin Ha. She plays the role of a resourceful maid with a buried past. Baek will be Benedict’s lady love in a classic style, but in a fresh manner. It might be like a retelling of a Cinderella-like love story.
Luke Thompson shared his excitement about playing Benedict again this season. Speaking about Season 4, he said it will be sort of a blend of both fantasy and reality. He told Netflix’s Tudum:
“What’s striking about Season 4 is that it’s the struggle between a proper old-school fairy tale — the romance of it — and the actual reality of the world. And both are true. You have to hold both of them — the romance and the reality — in your hand. In its best version, ‘true love’ happens in the middle of that.”
Hence, we can conclude that this season, too, will be loaded with swoon-worthy moments. Benedict and Sophie’s love story will be one to watch as it will be full of charm, secrets, and most definitely, a masquerade ball.

As mentioned above, Yerin Ha, Katie Leung, Michelle Mao, and Isabella Wei are the new additions to the world of Bridgerton.
While Yerin Ha will play Luke’s love interest, Katie Lung will play Lady Araminta Gun. According to Netflix’s Tudum, Araminta is “twice-married and twice-widowed” who has two daughters who are expected to make their entrance into the show this season and she has to marry off at least one of them.
Rosamund is played by Michelle Mao and she is mostly vain even though pretty. She wants to please her mother. She also has eyes on this season’s lead man, Benedict.
Posy Li is played by Isabella Wei. She is the kinder sister and is also debuting this season. Posy is chatty and friendly, but her mother Araminta hardly pays attention to her.
Bridgerton Season 4 cast: Who isn’t returning?
While most of the familiar faces will return in Season 4, a few old faces might exit the cast. Here’s who might not be returning to the Ton.

Lorn Macdonald’s recent Instagram post hinted that he might be saying goodbye to his character Albion Finch. He wrote a heartfelt message thanking his fans. Unfortunately, it also seems that his on-screen partner, Harriet Cains (Philippa Featherington), won’t be returning either.

Though we are sad to see them go, we understand that these developments, which are sometimes hard, are necessary to drive a plot forward.
