Black Mirror Season 7 cast and character guide: Entire list of new and reprising stars, explored

The popular British sci-fi anthology series Black Mirror has returned for a new season almost two years after the premiere of the previous season.

Created by Charlie Brooker, the current season was released on Thursday, April 10, 2025, on Netflix. This season has six episodes, each featuring a different narrative and a different cast member. The season continues to delve into the exploration of humanity's complicated relationship with technology- AI, surveillance, ethical boundaries, innovation, and digital identity.

1) Jimmi Simpson as James Walton

The BAFTA, Emmy, and SAG award-winning actor Jimmi Simpson is reprising his role in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode 6 titled USS Callister: Into Infinity. He previously appeared as James Walton, the CEO of Callister Inc. in Black Mirror Season 4 Episode 1 titled USS Callister, and his portrayal earned him a nomination for the BAFTA award for Best Supporting Actor.

Some of Jimmi Simpson's notable projects include Solo, Unhinged, Zodiac, Date Night, Westworld, and House of Cards.

2) Cristin Milioti as Nanette Cole

The 39-year-old actress, well known for her role in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother as Tracy McConnell, has reprised her role of fierce lieutenant Nanette Cole for Black Mirror Season 7. She, too, appeared in Black Mirror Season 4. In the real world, she is a talented coder and joins Callister Inc., adding to her admiration towards the Company's CTO Robert Daly. Soon, she realised how Daly manipulated and gained control of the digital replicas. Cole finally takes the lead against Daly's oppressive rule, which results in their liberation from Daly's clutches.

3) Rashida Jones as Amanda

Rashida Jones reprises her role as a school teacher Amanda who is sick in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode 1 titled Common People. Her dedicated tech savy husband wants her healed thus he signs her up for a tech system called Rivermind. However it comes with repercussions. Can the couple fight through this tough times?

Jones has appeared in Black Mirror Season 3 Episode 1 titled Nosedive, and has co-written it as well. Jones have been a part of severalnoteworthy projects including Perks and Recreation, Silo, The Office and Sunny.

4) Asim Chaudhury as Mohan Thakur

Asim Chaudhury will be reprising his role as Mohan Thakur in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode titled Plaything. He previously appeared in interactive session/film called Black Mirror: Bandersnatch that premiered on Netflix on December 28, 2018.

The much celebrated British actor, comedian and actor has appeared in several movies and series including, People Just Do Nothing, Chubby Funny and Eaten By Lions.

5) Will Poulter as Colin Ritman

Will Poulter will reprise his role as Colin Ritman, a game developer in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode titled Plaything. He appeared alongside Asim Chaudhury in Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. Poulter is well known for his roles in Detroit, Warfare, and We're the Millers.

Billy Magnussen as Captain Valdack- Popular American actor well known for his roles in Into The Woods, Aladdin, and Gamenight, is reprising his role as the cunning villain Captain Valdack in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode titled 'US Callister: Into Infinity.
Milanka Brooks as Elena Tulaska will also be seen in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode 'US Callister: Into Infinity. The 41 year old English actress is well known for her roles in The Windsors and Do Not Disturb.
Paul G. Raymond as Kabir Dudani: Raymond will also appear in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode 6 'US Callister: Into Infinity. Born on November 1, 1989, he is a popular actor and writer who appeared in Wonka and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Osy Ikhile as Nate Packer: Ikhile appeared as Nate Packer in Black Mirror and is popularly referred to as Helmsman Packer. He is all set to reprise his role in Black Mirror Season 7 Episode 6 'US Callister: Into Infinity. The British actor is also a talented producer and filmmaker. Some of his notable projects include The Legend of Tarzan, Sand Castle, and In the Heart of the Sea
