Netflix's Selling The City aired on January 3, 2025. The latest real-estate show on the platform aired its eight episodes on the premiere day. The reality show introduced cast members from the "latest edition of Selling" franchise.

For fans who don't know, Selling The City is created by popular real estate shows, including Selling the OC and Selling Sunset's creators.

Netflix describes the real-estate show as:

"Selling the City follows a group of no-nonsense (and very well-dressed) agents hailing from the legendary real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman."

Seeing the latest show, Selling The City, released on Netflix, fans recalled another popular real-estate show, Selling Sunset, and compared the two.

One of the fans wrote on X:

"I just watched #SellingTheCity on #Netflix…. Is it intentional to make #women look so silly and juvenile?? All of the bickering and personal drama, I barely saw any real #negotiations, unlike Ryan Serhants #owningmanhattan."

Another fan mentioned:

"I absolutely love #SellingTheCity. So much better than #SellingSunset ."

A netizen reacted to Selling The City:

"The selling sunset woman need to take notes on the wardrobe department. The club dresses & booty shorts have got to go. #SellingTheCity."

A fan commented about the female cast members of Selling The City:

"I'm really impressed by how clear these women are at communicating #SellingTheCity."

A person reacted to the real-estate show:

"One thing about New York real estate shows is that you can't fake being an agent/broker, you legit have to have a license & do legit business. That's the difference between #SellingTheCity & #SellingTheOC #SellingSunset where Jason & Brett have unlicensed models on the show."

A fan wrote about the show:

"I'm done with this low ball rip-off of MDL after only 1 episode. Sorry Steve Gold #SellingTheCity."

An X user teased about cast members of the real-estate show:

"Every real estate show has some grown ass children on it…yet I'm still watching #SellingTheCity."

A person tweeted about cast members:

"Watching #SellingTheCity. Why is the cast speaking so very loudly all the time? Eleonora seems to be constantly yelling. Is it NY thing?"

Selling The City: Fans recall Selling Sunset after witnessing latest real-estate show on the platform

Netflix aired the much-awaited real-estate show on January 3, 2025. It features agents based in NYC, and their team is led by Eleonora Srugo.

Netflix's Tudum describes the show as:

"The series takes viewers inside the luxury housing market from the POV of an elite New York City–based agents led by boss Eleonora Srugo. And just like with the Selling crew before them, expect plenty of personal and professional drama, as the team navigates intense competition, jaw-dropping properties, and life-changing multimillion-dollar deals."

Selling The City cast members include:

  • Abigail from Greenville, South Carolina,
  • Eleonora from "Manhattan, baby! SoHo, to be specific."
  • Gisselle from "Elizabeth, New Jersey, where we keep it real but dream big."
  • Jade from "Born in Manhattan, raised in Atlanta."
  • Jordyn Taylor from Riverside, California
  • Justin from Racine, Wisconsin, and Lakeville, Minnesota
  • Steve from Stamford, Connecticut
  • Taylor from Nashville, Tennessee

While Selling Sunset is led by twins Jason Oppenheim and Brett Oppenheim, recently released Selling The City is a woman-led real-estate show. For that, Eleonora Srugo has the reigns of "an elite New York City" based agent and "legendary real estate" firm Douglas Elliman.

As Netflix describes "The Boss," Eleonora Srugo is the star of the real-estate show. She describes herself as:

"You see me on the show with diamonds and helicopters, but that's not what it always was. That's actually an honor and a blessing that I get to experience based on years of hard work. In New York, we’re scrappy and dream big, and it’s nice to show that those dreams can come true, and they come true here."

The show also features lingering drama and feuds among the show's cast members Jade and Eleanora.

Fans can now stream Selling The City episodes on Netflix.
