Netflix released the first four episodes of the popular dating experiment Love is Blind UK on August 7, 2024. Among the first set of episodes of Love is Blind UK, episode 2 featured the much-awaited first meeting between Sabrina and Steven.
After interacting a few times in the pods, both learned that they shared various similar interests. Soon Steven decided to ask the big question and proposed to Sabrina on the show. She agreed and the duo met for the first time on Love is Blind UK episode 2. Sabrina described their meeting as:
"Literally, the best moment of my life."

How was Sabrina and Steven’s first meeting on Love is Blind UK?
The moment that both Sabrina and Steven have been eagerly waiting for happened during the second episode of Love is Blind UK. Sabrina is from Belfast where she works as the director of marketing and communications. Her now fiance, Steven owns a CrossFit gym and hails from Birmingham.
A few moments before their first face-to-face meeting, Sabrina felt that everything in her life had led up to that particular moment, meeting Steven. She confessed that her previous relationships had “knocked her confidence.” However, after Steven created a safe space for her, Sabrina let her guard down, and she trusted him.
Steven, on the other hand, confessed that he didn’t care about Sabrina’s looks. He was confident that she was his "the one." Sabrina also shared similar views about looks. She said in a confessional:
"It doesn't matter what he looks like."
Sabrina also shared that there was a worry of “What if she’s not his usual type?” But she thought that they came into the experiment because their normal types hadn’t worked out for them in the past.
Soon, the doors opened, and Sabrina and Steven faced each other. Seeing Steven, she described it as "surreal," while Steven thought she looked stunning.
He then got the ring out and asked Sabrina to give a short answer because the first time Steven asked the question while they were in the pods, she took a few moments before saying "yes." They both laughed by remembering that moment after which Steven presented the question.
"It’s an easy yes," Sabrina told him.
Later, Sabrina confessed that Steven being "tall, dark, and handsome" was everything she could have wanted. She added that it was the best moment of her life. Steven confessed that, as a person, Sabrina was more than he could have ever dreamed of. Meeting his fiancee for the first time, Steven felt "incredible."
Steven asked Sabrina how she felt, to which she replied, "So happy." Later, when Sabrina asked Steven the same, he told her that he was excited to start chapter two. After their first meeting, Steven described Sabrina as beautiful on the inside and the outside. While Sabrina described their first meeting as a magical moment.
She also shared that Steven showed her romance and love in such a way that she had never experienced before. She thought of Steven as her Prince Charming. Steven couldn’t wait to tell his family and friends about Sabrina.
