Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Episode 13 Recap: A huge tip and confrontations

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Episode 13 titled Mid-Strife Crisis aired on Bravo on January 6, 2025. It started with the previous clients talking to Glenn and giving their feedback about the service. They said that the men did an excellent job but it felt like the girls were "frustrated."

Glenn tried to diffuse the situation by apologizing for their behavior and promising that they would improve. As for the cast, they had been standing outside this whole time, waiting for the group to come out.

They instantly reckoned that the client had complained about them. Despite it all, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast bid farewell to them, and Glenn accepted a tip from the ladies. He asked the members to change before he talked with them.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Episode 13 - Danni gives Daisy a feedback

Danni pulls in Daisy for a quick chat, and they sit down together. She starts off by telling how she is losing her "passion and motivation." Talking about Daisy's behavior, she says,

"You'll be on your phone and, and then you come up and then shout at us for something and then I'm so confused."

Daisy is shocked at this feedback on the Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Danni continues by saying how it is really hard for them to work with no direction or guidance. Daisy apologizes for the snapping and asks Danni to come to her when she is doubtful about the tasks. She says she will "reevaluate" her behavior and learn to create passion.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Episode 13 - Daisy talks to Glenn, Tip Meeting

In the next scene of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, we see Daisy and Glenn sitting down to chat about the client who had just left. He tells her how they did not like the service by the women and asks what they could do better as hosts if they get the same type of client again.

This gets Daisy worked up, and she leaves the boat to collect herself. Meanwhile, Danni is telling Diana how she confronted Daisy, but Diana doesn't think that she should have done that.

Soon Daisy comes back and talks to Captain Glenn. She says she will be better along with her department, and the two hug it out. Glenn then calls out the crew for a tip meeting.

He talks to all of them, asking them to be better for their next charter, as they can't let the guest's behavior affect their mood. Glenn then distributed the tip of $15,000 among the crew, who were very surprised at the generosity.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Episode 13 - Team Dinner

The Below Deck crew then goes out for a team dinner in Ibiza together, where Danni again takes a jab at Daisy about her behavior. She thinks her boundary was crossed. Daisy does not say anything back and eats silently.

The group then decides to go clubbing. While Daisy is at a bar, Cloyce comes up to her and flirts. Then they all go outside, and Keith also flirts with Daisy. The two have a mutual interest in each other, share their feelings, and end up kissing.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Episode 13 - Back at the Deck

Back at the yacht, crew members tease Keith about Daisy after they had shared a kiss. Talking about him, Daisy says,

"Keith is so secure in himself. He's just so emotionally stable."

However, Gary has mixed feelings about the whole thing as he has feelings for her.

The next day Daisy decides that she will talk to Danni as she thinks the latter is manipulating her. Even while getting ready and having breakfast, Daisy throws passive-aggressive comments towards Danni. Glenn soon calls Daisy, Gary, and Cloyce into the mess for a brief about their upcoming guests.

In the next scene, Daisy sits down to talk to Danni about how it is not her job to "create passion in her." However, she will be there to support her. Danni acknowledges or seems to acknowledge this, and the two hug it out. Seem to be, because later she tells the cameras that Daisy thinks she is a "threat to her position."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Episode 13 - The guests

The guests step in at 3 PM on Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Detox is the primary one. Soon Daisy takes over and introduces the guests to the boat and its amenities. Soon the boat is set to sail and the guests are at the deck enjoying the winds.

The vessel, however, tilts in one direction which causes stuff to fall down inside but the guests are having the time of their lives. Soon fresh fruit is served to the guests and they feel as if it is garlicky. Daisy takes it down to Cloyce who remembers cutting it along with onions.

Later at dinner, the guests were served croquetas but said it was just "fried cheese balls." Next up was the salad and then the steak but trouble hit paradise when Cloyce's smoker ran out of battery. The guests were impatient and passing remarks about that. Glenn thinks he needs someone responsible for the boat than Cloyce.
