Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under continues to bring the drama, and Episode 9, titled "Foam Sick," does not disappoint. Tensions between department heads are at an all-time high. Romance is blossoming among some crew members, and charter guests bring their own brand of chaos to the mix.

At the center of the drama is Bosun Wihan, who seems to be making enemies faster than he can tie a bowline knot. Chief Stew Lara and Chef Tzarina are fed up with his leadership style, or lack thereof. Meanwhile, new boatmances on Below Deck Down are heating up as Alesia and Johnny get closer, and Harry and Bri take their relationship to the next level.

On the guest side of things, reality star Corinne Olympios and her friends board the yacht, ready to party. A foam-covered deck, a questionable leadership moment, and a stern warning from Captain Jason make this an episode to remember. Let’s dive in.

Wihan Faces More Pushback from Lara and Tzarina

Wihan has been a point of contention for weeks. In this episode of Below Deck Down, things only get worse. Lara and Tzarina are frustrated with his unwillingness to delegate properly. Instead of taking their concerns seriously, Wihan shrugs them off. He even jokes in a confessional, saying,

"It’s not my fault other departments don’t get as much free time as mine."

Lara reminds him that when his team has downtime, they should be helping other departments. Wihan disagrees. He believes his deckhands deserve their breaks and that he isn’t responsible for helping out elsewhere.

Tzarina suggests revisiting the conversation after the preference sheet meeting. He agrees, but it’s clear he has no real intention of changing. Later, Tzarina gives Lara a comforting hug, realizing they are both fighting an uphill battle. Meanwhile, Wihan remains blissfully unaware of the storm brewing against him.

Love is in the Air for Alesia, Johnny, Bri, and Harry

Not everything in this episode of Below Deck Down is about work drama. Romance is also taking center stage. Alesia is preparing for her first date with Johnny. She’s nervous but excited. Bri reassures her while Tzarina encourages Harry to make a move on Bri.

Harry reveals he’s planned something special for Bri that night. He has access to a guest cabin, and it’s clear he wants to take their connection further. Later, the crew celebrates Marina’s birthday with dinner and a party. Alesia and Johnny share some laughs, and as the night goes on, they finally share their first kiss.

Bri and Harry also make their move. They sneak off to the guest cabin, where they get some much-needed privacy. The next morning, Bri wakes up feeling more confident about herself and her relationship with Harry. She hints that there are sides to Harry no one else has seen. Intriguing!

Charter Guests Bring the Party and the Problems

Reality star Corinne Olympios and her friends come aboard, ready for a wild time. They want a foam party, jet skis, and plenty of fun. Their arrival sets the tone immediately. Before they even settle in, they request a full yacht tour. Lara obliges, but their excitement quickly turns into recklessness.

The guests start jumping off the yacht without supervision. Captain Jason had to intervene, reminding them that safety comes first. Moments later, one of the guests gets too close to the yacht on a jet ski, splashing his friends. Once again, Captain Jason steps in to lay down the law.

Despite the chaos, the guests are having a blast. They board a tender for a snorkeling trip, giving the crew a brief break from their high-energy antics. The question remains—can the crew keep up with this rowdy bunch for the entire charter?

Marina Steps Out of Line with Captain Jason

Marina finds herself in hot water with Captain Jason after a simple misstep. As he helps with the luggage, she corrects him on the placement of a suitcase. Jason doesn’t appreciate the input. He firmly reminds her,

"If you can’t manage yourself, that’s where I have to step in. Don’t talk to me like that."

Marina immediately backs down, realizing she may have crossed a line. But this moment highlights a growing issue—some crew members are struggling to find the balance between taking initiative and overstepping. Lara later tells Captain Jason that Marina has been testing her authority, too. He assures her he will handle it.

With tensions already high among the crew, Marina’s mistake could not have come at a worse time. Will she take the warning seriously, or will her attitude continue to rub people the wrong way?

Foam Party Fun on Below Deck Down Under Ends in a Mess

The highly anticipated foam party on Below Deck Down finally happens, and it is everything the guests hoped for. The deck is covered in bubbles. People are dancing, laughing, and letting loose. But as expected, things get out of hand.

One guest has a little too much fun and ends up vomiting over the side of the yacht. To everyone’s surprise, he bounces back quickly and rejoins the party like nothing happened- Classic "puke and rally."

Once the party winds down, Johnny stays up late to clean the deck. He’s the only one on duty, and it quickly becomes overwhelming. Wihan is nowhere to be found. Instead of checking on his team, he is lounging in the crew mess, eating a snack. Johnny does his best, but by morning, there’s still work to do.

With tensions boiling over, romance heating up, and Captain Jason running out of patience, Below Deck Down Under is heading toward an explosive turning point. Wihan’s leadership (or lack of it) remains a major issue, and Lara is quickly losing her tolerance for his antics. Meanwhile, the boatmances continue to evolve, and the guests keep bringing their own brand of chaos. With Jason’s warning looming, the next episode could see major changes on board.

Will someone get fired? Will Wihan finally step up? Or will the drama only get worse? One thing is certain: this season of Below Deck Down Under is far from smooth sailing. Catch the next episode Monday at 8/7c on Bravo.
