What happened on Below Deck Down Under season 3 episode 8?
On Below Deck Down Under season 3 episode 8, one of the main highlights was the charter guests asked to arrange Fear Factor-inspired games. This was when Lara had instructed Wihan and Harry to help her and get the tasks completed on time. Harry felt that a heavier workload was on his shoulders and expressed that it didn't seem like a combined team effort anymore.
Despite Adair and Wihan joining him, viewers could sense some unresolved tension within the trio. Later during his conversation with Tzarina, Harry suggested that there should be a specified work schedule, or else working without one would become more difficult. Harry stated that the communication issues needed to be resolved and clashed with Wihan over this discussion.
Towards the end of the Below Deck Down Under episode, Wihan blamed Lara for the lack of effective communication within the crew. After the guests left, Captain Jason had a one-on-one conversation with Wihan, asking him to bridge the gaps within his team. Jason had noticed that things weren't flowing smoothly within the crew as they complained about Wihan's behavior as well as his actions.
The Below Deck Down Under cast member said:
“Not teaching your team the right way is not a leader. At the moment, I’m talking to you like a head of department. Now the next step is me actually going out there and being that hard guy, and you don’t want me to, ‘cause then I’m actually talking to you like a deckhand. So, don’t get me in that position.”
He continued:
"I don’t wanna nitpick at everything, but it has come to my attention a little bit … there’s some negativity. It’s gotta stop. That infection will spread like a wildfire. If you just can’t sort it out, I’ll make changes."
