On March 10, 2025, BravoTV's Below Deck Down Under season 3 premiered episode 6, which featured heightened tension and high-stakes drama as crew disputes escalated. With tempers flaring and personal dynamics interfering with work, Captain Jason Chambers was forced to step in and take control of the escalating situation. From crew members arguing over duties to unanticipated accidents on deck, there was plenty of drama in this week's episode.

One of the largest dramas occurred when Johnny, Wihan, and India got into an incident with the jet ski that took center stage. After Wihan decided to play the blame game, tension rose on the deck. In the meantime, Chef Alesia Bean entered the show, which made the already tense work situation even worse with reassigned duties. To restore order, Captain Jason had to step in.

Episode 6 turned out to be a turning point for this season as tensions were running high and the crew was finding it difficult to remain professional. The drama aboard Below Deck Down Under only appears to be getting worse as relationships break down and leadership is put to the test.

Let's take a deeper dive into the all-new episode of fans' favorite show.

What happened on Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 6?

Below Deck Down Under season 3 episode 6 was tense as crew disputes got out of hand. After the conflict between Johnny and India intensified, Captain Jason had to take over, and Chef Alesia's entrance changed the dynamics on the yacht. The episode set the groundwork for more drama, with collaboration breaking down and emotions running high.

Johnny takes over during a jet ski mishap

On a jet ski, Wihan was perplexed as a stressful situation developed at the beginning of the episode. Luckily, Below Deck Down Under's Johnny intervened and quickly saved India, the struggling guest. Wihan took immediate action, guiding his jet ski closer to Johnny as he offered to help. After India had been securely moved, Wihan and his two guests headed back to the yacht. Captain Jason, who was unaware that Johnny was abandoned with the sinking jet ski, amused the other visitors in the sea.

Wihan returned to the ship and told Captain Jason that he had to go back to help Johnny, but he cleverly omitted an important detail: he disregarded the deck team's recommendation to empty and test the jet ski before usage. Consequently, things got worse. Wihan and Johnny tried to tow the wet ski back, but it capsized as Adair attended to India's minor wound. Captain Jason then summoned the engineering crew to retrieve it from the waters.

Captain calls out Wihan for reflecting orders

Below Deck Down Under's Captain Jason addressed Wihan's poor handling of the jet ski incident as soon as he returned to the yacht. When Jason discovered that Wihan was more concerned with assigning blame than accepting responsibility, what began as a straightforward debrief swiftly devolved into a harsh lecture.

Rather than owning up to his mistake, Wihan maintained that he was only carrying out orders, which the captain found objectionable. Jason told him that being a deckhand is more than just responding to issues; it's about predicting them.

When Jason revealed that Wihan disregarded the warning to test the jet ski before usage, the tension rose. Jason's irritation was only heightened by Wihan's attempt to avoid responsibility. Below Deck Down Under star Jason issued a tough but restrained warning to Wihan, telling him to take charge, learn from his mistakes, and step up before another one endangers the team or visitors.
