Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 12 Recap: Nicolas comes clean about his mistake, Tzarina and Lara clash over serving duties

Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 12 aired on April 21, 2025, on Bravo. The latest episode featured Nicholas planning to confess his mistake to the captain. As guests head for the rum tasting, Lara and Tzarina have different opinions about serving the guests.

Later, when Tzarina goes queet, Alesia notices something went wrong. After Nicholas's practice speeches, he went to the captain and admitted his mistake, which he appreciated. Tzarina was still struggling over the unwrapping of the dishes, which Alesia couldn't figure out why.

Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 12 Recap: Nicholas practices his confession, Tzarina and Lara find themselves in a disagreement over serving guests

The recently released Below Deck Down Under Season 3 episode featured Nicholas struggling with his mistake. From the previous episode, fans witnessed him taking shots with the guests. He planned to come clean to the captain to own up to his mistake.

Meanwhile, the guests planned a rum tasting and a picnic, which, despite the storm, they wanted to go for. Captain Jason told Lara to have Marina on service for the outing.

However, Lara thought otherwise and raised her concerns to the captain, stating Marina was not ready for service by herself. Soon, guests, including crew member Marina, left before the storm arrived.

Tzarina and Lara clash over serving duties while Nicholas practices his speech for the captain

Lara went to the galley and told Tzarina about the picnic lunch and told her to attend it. Tzarina stated that the only work was to unwrap the dishes and serve the food, which anyone could do. However, Lara wanted Tzarina to do it. Later, when Lara saw Harry, she shared that Tzarina's behavior was different.

As Nicholas planned, he wanted to come clean to the captain, and he was practicing his speech. He talked about how he came into yachting because of his father. He was a professional kitesurfer and windsurfer. The crew member also shared that his father was not a captain.

Further on, in Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 12, Marina, who went with the guests, served them rum while Alesia and Tzarina arrived. After unwrapping the dishes, Tzarina left. She stated that the boat was almost an hour away, which she was supposed to return to soon, for everything to work well.

Seeing Tzarina leaving in such a hurry, Adair asked Alesia about her. After his practice speeches, Nicholas went to the captain and owned up to what he had done. Contrary to what Nicholas expected, Captain Jason appreciated his honesty. When Nicholas shared that with everyone, the crew members appreciated that things went well.

Later, when Tzarina stated that going to serve the guests, where she unwrapped the dishes, was the "biggest waste" of her time. Reacting to that, Lara told the cameras:

"I wish Tzarina had been more passionate about serving the guests lunch than serving me this s**tty attitude."

After guests returned from their rum tasting, Below Deck Down Under star Alesia went to the galley and noticed Tzarina was quieter than usual. When she tried to talk to her and asked if everything was fine, Tzarina only nodded. Lara praised Alesia for her work with the guests. Referring to that, Tzarina confessed that Lara was "grooming" Alesia.

While guests went for dinner, Alesia tried to find out what happened to Tzarina. However, she said everything was fine and didn't talk much. Seeing a change in Tzarina's behavior, Alesia said it was "depressing."
