Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad was known for his no-holds-barred attitude, and his language also reflected the same. One of the trademark phrases that Jesse frequently used on the show was calling people and situations, ‘B***h’, a reference that has become as iconic as the character itself. But even years after the show went off-air, Paul shared that Breaking Bad fans continue to scream the word at him.

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Aaron Paul shared,

“…It’s so wild, because the show has been done for so long. But a lot of people are being introduced to it now. And I can confidently say I’ve been called ‘b***h’ more than anyone in the world. It’s true.”

Aaron Paul was on the show to promote his new thriller movie, Ash. He spoke about family and his close relationship with Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston. He also shared that his toddler children often hear fans screaming out the word at him. He said,

“They have no idea what the word means… But I feel like my character kinda made it more of like a term of endearment a little bit.”

Jesse Pinkman and his famous cuss word

Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad is a colourful character who is often impulsive but has good business acumen when it comes to building his drug business. Known for his straightforward attitude, Jesse’s vocabulary was limited with frequent usage of lingo.

Whether it is displaying a sense of vulnerability or showcasing uninhibited emotions, the catchphrases such as ‘b***h’ and ‘yo’ became the character’s trademark. Even though Jesse may use the same term to convey different emotions, fans found it endearing and relatable.

Aaron Paul, who reprised the role of Pinkman in the movie El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, continued to use the signature linguistic term. During an appearance in Conan, Aaron Paul shared,

"…I never improved a b***h in the history of Breaking Bad. Every single b***h you saw on screen was scripted. It was a scripted bitch. But I read El Camino, and I didn't notice the first time around, but I think maybe third or fourth time I read it I was like, 'Wait, there's no b***h in here.’”

He continued,

"So, I called Vince. I'm like, 'Is there a reason there's no b***h in here?' He's like, 'Oh, I didn't even think about it.' And then, that was it."
