What is Beauty In Black all about?
The show portrays a class divide, where, in this world, some people's race starts from the finish line of many. It highlights the privilege that people carry as a result of being born into a wealthy family. For example, when Olivia provokes Lena to slap her, she slaps Lena multiple times. This shows the other character's helplessness, as she can't fight against someone more powerful than her.
On the other hand, Horace gives her family name and her privilege to Kimmie on the deathbed. This move ensures that Kimmie inherits his fortune and gains power over the Bellarine empire, blindsiding his greedy family members in Beauty in Black.
The first season of Beauty in Black premiered on Netflix in October 2024. Part 2 was released in March 2025. The show gained popularity and increased viewership across platforms and, therefore, has been renewed for its second season.
