Beast Games Episode 3 recap: VIP rooms, handcuffs, and a golden gift

Beast Games Episode 3 was released on December 26, 2024. It saw contestants engaging in thrilling challenges and continuing on the cliffhanger that last week's episode brought forth. Things were left in the middle when Mr. Beast asked the players if they wanted a bribe of $1 million.

The catch was, that the captains would have to eliminate their teams. However, all of the captains denied the offer. This meant they would all be proceeding to the next round of the episode.

Mr. Beast has been hyping up the third episode for a while now. He even claimed that this is the best one in his 10-part series. It was released on the same day as Squid Games Season 2. We shall now recap what went down on the show.

Beast Games Episode 3 recap

The official bio for the episode titled The Solitary Experiment reads,

"What would happen if three best friends were trapped in a room, but only two could escape? Watch and see for yourself right now!"

Challenge 1: This was a light-hearted and easy drill for the contestants on Beast Games. They had to do a simple sack race. It was not that serious because it would not result in elimination and the players could team up in groups of three.

While talking about the round, Mr. Beast said,

"We're going to play a game that won't eliminate anybody. Yeah, I think you guys earned it. So instead of eliminating people, we have a prize for the winners of this next game."

As for the winning team, the gift will be a VIP house in Beast City which will further double down to include an additional prize later

Challenge 2: The second challenge of Beast Games episode 3 was more of a mental endurance task in which three groups were led to a small room with handcuffs on the wall where they were linked.

These rooms were in an arena and the players would have to spend 5 hours inside it. There was a telephone with the label "ask for anything."

Now for the mentally and emotionally challenging part, these three people would have to decide and cuff one of them to the wall. This would mean that that player is eliminated. If the teams did not comply with the rule, all three would be eliminated.

Challenge 3: In Challenge 3 of the Beast Games episode 3, we saw a golden present. This challenge was not long and only stated that the first contestant to touch the box would win six golden tickets. These lead to a tropical island worth $1.8 billion which is also a reward. The winner was allowed to take up to 5 people with him.

Challenge 4: The last challenge of the Beast Games episode 3 during the ending moments of the show brought on a twist. Mr. Beast revealed that he had hidden a secret golden ticket in Beast City. Whoever finds that out will proceed to the next episode.

By the end of the episode, we saw that the contestants were getting ready to leave for the island in a helicopter.

Beast Games Episode 4 release date is on January 2, 2025. The episode will drop out on Amazon Prime Video every week on Thursdays.

Mr. Beast created this 10-part series after he became successful worldwide through his YouTube channel. He revealed his $100 million deal with Amazon to produce this reality TV show. The series is filmed at various locations in North America. Mr Beast has over 339 million subscribers on YouTube making him the most followed man on the app.
