Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban is known for his grit, humor, and also his endearing career journey. While getting into a conversation with Lex Fridman on his podcast in March 2024, the Shark Tank entrepreneur Mark Cuban had some wise words for the young people who are just getting started.

As the podcast neared its end, Fridman admired the illustrious journey and growth of Mark Cuban as an entrepreneur and asked him," What advice would you give to young people?" Mark had a simple but efficient response to that. Mark advised the younger generation, who are in their teens, to enjoy each slice of life moment and take it easy.

The Shark Tank mentor said:

"Love your life, right. You know, find the things that you can enjoy. Be curious. You don't have to have all the answers when you're 12, 15."

He further told Fridman that he got emails from 15 years old asking him what to do in life. As much as he was impressed by the zeal of the younger generation to do something, he remarked that at this age, the most important thing was to be curious and okay with the fact that you cannot have an answer for everything.

Shark Tank mentor and entrepreneur Mark Cuban has an appropriate piece of advice for teens who feel they are being held back. Talking about his opinion on young people, Mark Cuban told Lex Fridman that, according to him, being curious is the most crucial thing, especially when you are young, and craving for answers.

Mark explained that it was fine not to know what exactly one would be as they grow up. But he firmly believes that there is always something that every person is good at, and all that matters is to find that thing and excel at it. He gave his own example and said that he had taken just one class on technology in college and even cheated on it.

Mark cited that he did not know back then that technology was something he would be great at. Therefore, he asked the young generation to be curious and keep on looking for that one thing which they would be great at. He further mentioned:

"And the hard part is just finding what that is. And in some places having resources to enable it."

Shark Tank Season 16 airs a new episode on Fridays on ABC Network.
