Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary shares his guilty pleasures in an Instagram reel
Shark Tank investor and entrepreneur, Kevin O'Leary, is usually seen sharing business advice. However, for a change, this time, Mr. Wonderful talks about his guilty pleasure and also subtly promotes one of his ventures.
"My guilty pleasure, everybody has them. I'll give you mine. I don't take drugs, you know. I work out all the time. I'm very careful about what I eat."
Kevin O'Leary sets the stage by highlighting his disciplined lifestyle. He emphasizes that he avoids bad habits such as drugs. He then adds how he tries to maintain a strict fitness and diet regimen, before revealing the secret:
"Every once in a while, I like to have a glass of great white wine and then a glass of red wine. Don't drink too much. be very careful; many people say that even two glasses is too much. I'm guilty. I'm guilty. That's a guilty pleasure."
He admits that his definition of indulgence is drinking both white and red wine. While he lives a strict lifestyle, he admits that even moderate drinking is debatable, with some thinking two glasses excessive. He humorously exaggerates his innocuous pleasure by stating: "I'm guilty." His tone stays cheerful, emphasizing that he enjoys wine but is cognizant of responsible intake.
"Love Montrachet. Love Cabernet Sauvignonon. O'Leary fine wines, what can I say? It's shameless promotion."
He ends the video with what he unabashedly terms as "shameless promotion," expressing his admiration for two well-known wines: Montrachet, a distinguished white Burgundy, and Cabernet Sauvignon, a popular red wine varietal. Highlighting these high-end options, he associates his preferences with luxury and quality.
The Shark Tank investor then seamlessly moves into advertising his own line of wines, O'Leary Fine Wines, admitting to self-promotion with the witty "shameless promotion" quip. This lighthearted approach makes his pitch feel more natural than sales-driven, establishing his brand while delivering an engaging and charismatic presentation.
