Netflix's competition reality show Battle Camp aired on April 23, 2025. The latest show premiered with all ten episodes, featuring 18 reality stars from various Netflix shows. It includes Love is Blind, Too Hot To Handle, Perfect Match, The Circle, and more.
On Battle Camp, fans witnessed six finalists, including Chase, Shubham, Georgia, Lorenzo, QT, and Polly. Among them all, when the host, Taylor Lewan, spun the Wheel for the last time, it stopped on Lorenzo's name, making him the winner.
When Lorenzo's name was announced, he couldn't believe it. His initial reaction was:
"You're lying. You're lying."
Lorenzo becomes the Battle Camp champion
Battle Camp finale revealed the winner, Lorenzo, who was still in denial when his name was announced. Later on, the winner confessed to the cameras:
"Oh my God, I'm feeling so happy. Like...I just can't believe it landed on me. Someone pinch me right now."
Fellow finalists also celebrated Lorenzo's win as he shared a close bond with multiple fellow campmates.
Shubham from The Circle, who became good friends with Lorenzo, confessed to the cameras:
"I'm so stoked that my boy Lorenzo won. He was loyal, he was kind, he was funny, and he stayed himself."
Too Hot to Handle's Georgia referred to Lorenzo as her "bestie" as they came close after being campmates on the show. She stated he has been her bestie since "day one." She confessed that she didn't care that she didn't win, because in her eyes, no one deserved it more than Lorenzo.
While celebrating, Lorenzo stated that he "manifested" the Wheel going on his name. However, he didn't think it would "actually" happen to him.
"Manifestations do work. I guess," said Lorenzo after winning.
Battle Camp: Lorenzo helped Polly during the Final Drop
In the final challenges, finalists went through two challenges. The second one, Final Drop, featured Lorenzo, Shubham, and Polly in the first group. The show host revealed that it was about "honesty and deception."
There were three planks at the top of the wall. Two of them had "safe" and one had "drop" labelled on them.
"The aim of the game is to make sure you're not standing on the "drop" plank when the round is over. Each safe plank represents a spot on the Wheel. The first player to walk out sees which planks are safe and which one is drop," said the host.
The following players can ask the first player or go and check for themselves, and then decide on which plank they want to stand. During the task, Lorenzo went second, and he found out which plank was safe and which would be dropped.
After him was Polly, whom he told he wouldn't lie about the planks. Even though the game was about "deception," Lorenzo stayed true to Polly and told her which plank was safe so that she could get on it.
Despite knowing that he was standing on the "drop" plank, Lorenzo told Polly to go on the safe plank, so that she could win and her name could go up on the Wheel, increasing her chances of winning. That was how much promises and friendship meant to Lorenzo, even though there was $250,000 at stake.
