An Irish black comedy, Bad Sisters is a two-season-long series on Apple TV+. With its first season released in 2022, Bad Sisters takes place in Dublin. The plot of Bad Sisters focuses on the five close-knit Garvey sisters, Grace, Eva, Ursula, Becka, and Bibi.
Things take a turn for the worse when Grace's abusive husband, John Paul, dies out of the blue. With Paul's unexpected death, the sisters are entangled in a life insurance investigation. The series bounces back and forth between two timelines.
In the timeline where John Paul is still alive, audiences see Grace's sister's plan to murder their monstrous brother-in-law. In the timeline where John Paul has died, a desperate insurance agent is hell-bent on proving that the sisters committed fraud.
