Bad Sisters is finally returning to Apple TV+ with a second season after a wait of over two years. The debut season of Bad Sisters premiered on the streaming platform in August 2022 and was a huge hit. The second season will hit the screen on November 13, 2024 and will carry on the story of the close-knit Garvey sisters as they try to navigate their lives in the wake of their husbands' deaths.
Although Bad Sisters garnered postive reviews and was widely appreciated by the audiences, the debut season remained largely underrated and was not promoted as wholeheartedly by Apple TV+ as one would expect.
The show is based on a Flemish TV miniseries from 2012 called Clan and focuses on the close-kint relationship between five sisters; Becka, Eva, Grace, Ursula and Bibi. Despite the fact that each of the sisters has her own unique personality, they share a persistent bond among them that allows them to always have each other's back in times of trouble.
Apple TV+ recently released a trailer for the upcoming seasons which hints at the plot and character arcs.

What is the plot of Bad Sisters season 2?
The narrative of the Apple TV+ show is driven by two timelines. The first, as portrayed in the debut season was before the death of the character John Paul, who was Grace's husband. The sisters conspired together to put an end to him after it was discovered that he was abusive towards his wife and had even taken advantage of Eva.
The second important timeline marked the entry of Tom Claflin, who is an insurance agent representing John's organization and is tasked with determing the truth of John's death. The tensions reach an all time high as Tom is determined to frame the sisters for John's death so that he doesn't have to pay them the insurance money.
The official synopsis for the second season reads:
"Two years after the “accidental death” of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on. But, when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust."
All episodes of Bad Sisters Season 2 will be exclusively available on Apple TV+.
