The beloved Apple TV series Bad Monkey concluded an epic comedy saga with its season 1 finale earlier this week. Episode 10 of the series was riddled with unforeseen plot twists and cliffhangers. It discloses the fate of the big bad of the comedy-drama: Eve (played by Meredith Hagner).
Eve turns out to be this season’s antagonist as was confirmed in episode 4 along with her partner in crime Nick Stripling, played by Rob Delaney. This was one demented and psychotic villain even Nick didn’t anticipate.

From convincing her husband to sever his arm for a phony homicide to suggesting murdering their daughter Caitlin, played by Charlotte Lawrence, Eve has proved time and time again that she has a few loose screws in her head.
Additionally, she was nonchalant about killing that weather woman and Heather after they got a whiff of her schemes. Moreover, the fact that she encourages her husband to commit unfathomable and obscene felons proves she is more than perfect embodying the role of a true villain.
So what did become of her in season 1?

What happened to Eve in episode 10 of Bad Monkey?
Episode 10 of Bad Monkey wraps up nicely with each character getting what they so rightfully deserved. Eve was being hunted down by Yancy and Neville who’d been hiding in the bushes waiting for the right time to pin her.
However, they knew she wouldn’t go down without a fight and needed a weapon to defend themselves. At the Striplings' abode, Yancy and Neville were concocting a plan to finally end her reign of terror.
The protagonist plotted to allegedly freeze Eve’s accounts in the States and apprehend her with police aid, with the help of his FBI friend Director Rhodes. However, she was clever enough to smell something fishy and raced for the bank to secure her funds before it was scheduled to be frozen.
With Yancy ready to see Eve in cuffs, he’s met with her smirk and a surprise at his arrest while Eve walks away a free woman. Yancy was rescued by his trusty buddy Neville. Eve’s option to escape from the riff-raff was now via yacht which took a dark and twisted turn.
Does Eve dump Nick in episode 10 of Bad Monkey?
Yes, Eve dumps Nick in episode 10 of Bad Monkey. Eve as observed thrives in the limelight of attention. Moreover, she’s emotionless and would cut a relationship loose at the drop of a hat without remorse. Nick had gone to extreme lengths for his dear wife including agreeing to sacrifice his arm.
However, after his spinal injury rendered him paralyzed and in Ya-Ya’s wheelchair, Eve didn’t exactly see any use for him. So, she decided to do what she’s been doing since she was unveiled as a villain - she disposes of him.
After narrowly escaping her fate, Eve decides to board the yacht and scram before trouble follows her home. Grabbing a hold of her husband’s wheelchair, she kept pushing him around elsewhere on the island while he expressed regret for not being closer to Caitlin.
Nick realizes Eve wasn’t just wheeling him for fresh air but he was being helplessly sentenced to his doom - which he was oddly at peace with. As soon as they were at the edge, she nudged him and watched him sink into the ocean.
Why did Yancy finally "let go" of Eve in episode 10 of Bad Monkey?
After Eve’s successful murder, she boarded the yacht and was all geared up to taste freedom - not answering for her crimes and the emotional distress she’s caused in Bad Monkey. With Tilly and her aboard the yacht, she’s just about to speed away when Yancy and Nevill waltzed in the nick of time.
As mentioned, Eve is quite a fighter and doesn’t give up on what she wants. She wanted freedom and didn’t cower to Yancy’s advances of denying her it. Eve simply put the boat at full speed but not before Yancy had caught onto the rope used to secure it to the pier.
Despite him nearly drowning with each pull, Yancy refused to loosen his grip on the rope. With the boat picking up speed, he was closer to death as Neville pointed out during his struggle. Yancy had the criminal in his sight and simply did not want to let go.
However, after his life pretty much flashed before his eyes including the many memories from his past, he finally let go while Eve was off into the sunset.
How did the Dragon Queen's curse come true in episode 10 of Bad Monkey?
Before breathing her last earlier on in episode 10, the Dragon Queen put a nasty curse on Eve that she’d “choke on her lies.” Which might’ve been unconventional but wildly true in the most unexpected manner.
Eve did indeed get away from Yancy. But that doesn’t mean karma didn’t reward her with a tragic ending as a result of all that craziness. Just before the finale of Bad Monkey concluded, Eve was seen indulging in some carrots at the top of a building in Morocco - not the best choice.
Just as she was munching on them, she suddenly felt suffocated and began choking on one of them. Being on top of a building didn’t help her case because she lost balance and plummeted to her death with the carrot still in her.
Whether or not Bad Monkey will return for another season remains to be confirmed.
