Bad Monkey is Carl Hiaasen’s novel brought to life by Apple TV+. It is a comedy drama that got people interested in it ever since its release on August 14, 2024. The creator of the series is Bill Lawrence, who is known for his works like Shrinking, Scrubs and Ted Lasso.
Bad Monkey is about Vince Vaughn’s Andrew Yancy. He is a former Miami detective who got demoted to being a health inspector in the Florida Keys. What begins as a strange case involving a human arm makes Yancy go on a wild adventure filled with eccentric characters, which also includes a “bad monkey.”

However, Apple TV+ also releases new episodes early on the previous night at around 8:00 or 9:00 pm ET. So, you might also be able to catch the new episode earlier on Tuesday night.

Bonnie's life takes an unexpected turn when she surrenders to an FBI agent, only to realize that the FBI was never actually after her. But she wanted to be arrested, and now she is left with no goals. She is sad and when the FBI agent drives her to Florida, she comes up with something. She buys 20 gas cans upon reaching Florida.
The episode also reveals that Evan was the one who hired the Russians to attack Yancy. But it turns out the boss, Pestov, is actually Yancy’s old friend. He stops the shooting and Yancy takes revenge by shooting at Evan’s house. Bonnie is seen trying to do something for Yancy. She sets Evan’s property on fire.
On the other hand, Gracie steals Nick’s expensive watch. She hopes to start a new life, even though she’s happy with Egg. Yancy knows of her crime, but is more interested in getting information from her. He plans to send Rosa undercover to lure the Striplings to Miami by pretending to be a rich buyer.
Meanwhile, it looks like Evan is trying to bribe Sonny to arrest Yancy. Things might not go as Yancy planned, but he might after all, take his father’s advice and focus on what truly matters to him.
