One more Reddit user, Charrikayu commented,

"One of my secret fantasies is going on Jeopardy and getting to respond to Lord of the Rings clues with hyper-specific answers (since everything is named and has multiple names) for extreme nerd cred. Like for any clue for which the correct response is "Gandalf" you could respond with any of "Mithrandir", "Olórin", or "Tharkûn" and they'd have to accept it."

Just_a_random_dood commented on Reddit,

"Back to back DDs are always funny and getting all 3 (and getting them right) is huge for the W. GG WP by all 3 :)"

One more Reddit user YamamotoMinami, shared,

"Think I've had enough of Wicked being forced into everything, what a godawful category."

Another Jeopardy! fan JRTD753 wrote,

""When I first saw "Wicked" before it even hit Broadway I could envision it up on the big screen & now we invite the audience to step inside the magical world of Oz & enjoy this type of 9-letter experience" Would Cinematic have been accepted? I wasn't entirely sure what they were aiming for."

To that, Comfortable-End-593 replied and commented,

"This clue was a dud."

Another response was from JRTD753, who shared,

"I love that several of us came to the subreddit--AT THE SAME TIME--to complain about it."

Lil_Nuke_Bro also replied and said,

"Whole category was a dud."

Another comment was from RegisPhone, who shared on Reddit,

"By Jeopardy standards I don't see how they could justify ruling against "cinematic" since a movie is by definition a cinematic experience and there's nothing in the clue to make that wrong, but I also don't see how such a vague and meaningless clue could have passed Jeopardy standards in the first place, so who knows?"
