We Live In Time star Andrew Garfield (populary known as Spider-Man) will appear opposite to Deadpool icon Ryan Reynolds on Variety's Actors on Actors this month along with multiple other artists from recent hits, as per latest reports. Actors on Actors is an entertainment talk show TV series that had its premiere on PBS SoCal in 2014.

On each episode, we witness multiple actors engaging in pairs to have one-on-one conversations revolving around their lives and work as artists. We have had stars like Benedict Cumberbatch, Oscar Isaac and Jake Gyllenhaal in the first episode that aired on December 21, 2014.

The 21st season will also be no less huge with artists from recent blockbusters like Gladiator 2 and Wicked appearing on Variety Studio. In 2019, the series received Daytime Emmy Award in the categorgy of Outstanding Special Class Series and also got nominated in 2023.

Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds will appear on Actors on Actors on Monday, December 9, 2024. The annual issue will reach newsstands two days later on December 11 after the conversations start releasing on variety.com along with its other social media channels.

Fans will get to watch one conversation on the talk show per day for 12 consecutive days. Production of new episodes takes place twice in a year aligned with Academy and Emmy Awards.

As per reports, PBS SoCal will air four episodes on January 9 (8 to 9 p.m.). Viewers can get to watch the encores on public television channels throughout the country and local listings should be checked for the WORLD Channel.

Following the PBS SoCal premiere, all episodes will be available to stream on pbssocal.org as well as the PBS App. Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh has reportedly said in a statement:

"I’m excited for our readers to watch and read our best season of Actors on Actors yet. With interviews from the stars of ‘Wicked,’ ‘Gladiator II,’ ‘Emilia Perez,’ ‘Queer’ and more, Actors on Actors continues to be the biggest and buzziest franchise of awards season."

Actors on Actors is a co-production of PBS SoCal and Variety Media and Michelle Sobrino-Stearns is the talk show's creator. So far, there are 20 seasons and 70 episodes and the 21st will be star-studded!
