Arcane Season 1 was one of the biggest hits of Netflix when it released in 2021. Fans can now rejoice as the second season is coming soon on Netflix.
Based on the lore belonging to the popular PC game titled League of Legends, Arcane featured high voltage action, a solid soundtrack and the bond between two sisters. The show appealed to both gamers and non-gamers and also had bagged eight Annie Awards and three Emmy Awards.
With such a glorious first season, the second season of Arcane will be its last. However, co-creator Christian Linke mentioned that a lot more if left to come from the greater lore. During a League Dev Update, he mentioned,
"Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche."
He further added,
"From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra."
Arcane release date
Though no exact release date has been provided for, Netflix has announced that viewers will be able to stream Arcane Season 2 in November, 2024.
Alex Yee and Christian Linke will be returning as co-creators for the second and final season of Arcane.

What is the plot of Arcane Season 2?
As described by Netflix, the official logline of the show says,
"Arcane tells the origin story of two iconic League of Legends champions, who just so happen to be sisters. Jinx - also known as Powder - and Vi find themselves on rival sides of a brewing war between the utopian city Piltover and its oppressed underbelly Zaun. Powder and Vi are completely transformed by the end of the first season, as Powder becomes the mischievous Jinx and Vi proves she's one champion you don't want to mess with."
Based on the popular multiplayer game League of Legends, the series has a number of characters from the game, including sisters Powder/Jinx and Vi, Ekko, Caitlyn, Jayce, Heimerdinger, Singed, and Viktor.
Is there a trailer yet for Arcane Season 2?
Yes, Netflix dropped the trailer for Arcane Season 2 on September 5. The trailer has everything that the fans have eagerly been waiting for. It shows the continued rivalry between Vi and Jinx along with a high octane battle between the Piltovans and Zaunites.
All episodes of Season 1 of Arcane are streaming now on Netflix, and those of the second and final season should drop starting November.
