The show has been well-received by critics for its complex and tragic storyline and unique animation. It has been confirmed that it will continue for a second and final season, exploring the relationship between the sisters and the world of League of Legends. Season 2 premieres in three acts: November 9 for Act I, November 16 for Act II, and November 23 for Act III.

After a failed rebellion in Piltover, Vander finds two sisters, Vi and Powder, whose parents were killed in the battle. He feels bad and decides to adopt the kids and raise them as his own. He also chooses to leave his former life and start a new one that has nothing to do with violence.

The main plot of Arcane is the class struggle between Piltover and Zaun. The former is where the rich and powerful stay while the people of Zaun struggle to make ends meet. Later, a teenage Powder steals mysterious crystals belonging to Jayce Talis, who is obsessed with magic after it saves his life.

Viktor is an assistant at Piltover's Academy and goes to Jayce to help him stabilize the crystals. Meanwhile, Silco, the Faun crime lord, uses a mystical substance called 'Shimmer,' which mutates his test subjects but drives them into an unstoppable rage.

As all paths begin to intersect, Silco kidnaps Vander, who uses the crystals to incite Powder to detonate a bomb, triggering the Shimmer and killing her adopted brothers, Mylo and Claggor. Vander also dies trying to save Violet, and in her grief she hits Powder, calling her "Jinx", a name that will stay with her forever. Silco becomes Powder's protector, while Enforcer Marcus arrests Violet.

Anyone who has played League of Legends is probably familiar with Hextech. It is a fictional technology used in the game to improve everything that surrounds the individual. The entire arc of the Arcane is made up of Hextech. The first part of the three-episode series begins with two sisters, Vi and Powder, or Jinx. They come out with a fairly simple job that turns out all wrong.

Powder finds volatile blue crystals and accidentally drops one. A gigantic explosion in the shop wipes out everything from the sisters, who are on the run. Their lives will change forever.

The second part starts with a conversation between Heimerdinger and Jayce. This sets up the whole part. Jayce is a big deal in Piltover, creating something with Hextech that nobody else could dream of.

Jayce and Victor have discovered something new that they think will help many people. Because of this, Victor gets sick, and Jayce works hard to make it right. The latter has invented something called the Hexgates, which are helping Piltover grow a lot. People traveled as fast as they could, and so the city flourished. But this has made the two towns more estranged than ever.

The sisters reunite after a gruesome but epic battle between Vi and Silco's loyal sidekick, Sevika. Vi is armed with Atlas gauntlets, but Sevika has an upgrade and now carries a prosthetic arm that she can enhance with Shimmer injections. Despite the upgrade, Vi knocks Sevika out. She's ready to go after Silco but doesn't get the chance as Jinx attacks her from behind.

Meanwhile, Vi wakes up tied to a table with Silco. Jinx brings Caitlyn, the Piltover enforcer who has been working with Vi all along, to join the party. In her ultimatum to her sister, she said that she could either be Jinx or Powder, and it was up to Vi to choose between her and Caitlyn. She is caught between two worlds. Will she return to her sister, or has she changed too much?

Silco begs Jinx not to leave him, telling her she is like a daughter. Caitlyn breaks free of their bond and shoots, and it ends in a shoot-out in which Jinx accidentally kills Silco. While Vi tries to comfort her sister, who has lost another father figure, Jinx loads the stolen Hextech Gem into her Fishbone missile and fires it at the Piltover Council as they vote on a peace treaty with Zaun.

The second season of Arcane season 2 will soon be available for fans to enjoy on Netflix.
