Calling all AMNSE fans! The finale of Ang Mutya ng Section E (The Jewel of Section E) has finally been released after a long two-week anticipation, and JayFer couldn't be happier.

But before we dive into how Season 1 concluded, know that there are spoilers ahead! From the Episode 16 recap to how the ending hints at another season, we'll be discussing it all.

As seen in the final moments, Jay-Jay finally chose Keifer in Ang Mutya ng Section E. Yes, that's absolutely right and what fans have been waiting for. Not only this, the two even shared a heartfelt kiss that'll totally make your day.

So, it all began with our favorite Jasper Jean Mariano, aka Jay-Jay, finding herself in a very unusual situation. After getting expelled from her previous school, she joins a prestigious institution called Higher Value International School, hoping to start over.

But her fresh start doesn’t go as planned. Jay-Jay is unexpectedly assigned to Section E, the school’s most chaotic and infamous all-boys class. This section isn’t just rough around the edges—it’s known for being a nightmare. And to make matters worse, Jay-jay is the only girl in the class, instantly making her a target for teasing and trouble.

Shen then crosses paths with the Section E president, Mark Keifer Watson, who starts off by planning to hurt Jay-Jay to take revenge on one of his former friends and the current boyfriend of his ex, Ella.

We also meet the most adorable character Yuri, who, being Keifer's best friend, couldn't refuse to be a part of this plan. But little did our two favorite boys know that they'd end up falling for Jay-Jay in Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 1.

Keep reading to explore who Jay finally chose.

Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 1 finale recap: Yuri proposed to Jay-Jay

AMNSE fans have literally been dying to see the finale of Ang Mutya ng Section E as the finale took two weeks to hit the screens. But now, you can stream it on VivaOne, the official streaming service for the P-drama.

So, the last episode begins with Jay remembering what happened last night after she celebrated Christmas in Section E, followed by the group ending up at Keifer's house. Since it's that time of the year, the classmates decide to drink and enjoy, and Jay Jay unexpectedly drank too much, which Keifer and Yuri clearly didn't like.

Later in the finale, Yuri initiates a conversation with Jay and tells her how he actually feels. He had already given her a ring in the previous episode of Ang Mutya ng Section E, and now had no time to ask Jay to marry him.

Yes, you read that right! Even Jay was confused and a bit startled. But Yuri explained that since she isn't allowed to have a boyfriend, she can at least have a husband. Here, I felt overwhelmed.

Fans hate seeing Jay-Jay cry in Ang Mutya ng Section E because she's the type of girl who doesn't easily break down. So, before Christmas Eve began, the Jewel of her class celebrated it with her family and Ci-N.

They were then given their gifts, but Jay is again confused to see that she's been gifted a white dress. Something you usually don't wear on Christmas. Still, Angelo and her aunt couldn't explain what was actually happening until they arrived at the Hanamichi hotel.

Jay is happy to see Keifer, but he clearly feels broken and worried. The reason? He knows about the engagement as Yuri had already told him everything. The moment JayFer fans were scared of finally comes.

They announce the new deal between the Frenandez and Hanamichi hotel, followed by Yuri and Jay-jay's engagement. The girl is heartbroken to learn that her cousin and aunt, and even grandma didn't tell her anything.

Jay even confronts Angelo, saying he cannot make such a huge decision just because she owes them. But again, it was the only way to save the Fernandez business. Jay tries to hold it together but inside, she's falling apart.

Now comes the part we've been longing to see. Keifer takes Jay to the elevator and asks her if she likes Yuri. It's clear that Jay has fallen hard for Keif, and so has he. Keifer then asks once again and tells Jay that if she doesn't reply, he will kiss her. Totally melting down AMNSE lovers.

As desired, Keifer kisses Jay-Jay, and don't forget—Profanity! Yes, he really reminded her about that. It’s a soft, heart-fluttering moment… cut short by that perfectly timed elevator ding.

Don't worry. There's more love incoming. As Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 1 nears its end, Yuri reminds Jay about his love and promises that everything will be fine. But she has already given her heart to Keifer.

Just when the fireworks are about to begin and Yuri hopes to enjoy it with Jay excuses herself, saying she needs the bathroom. Keifer pulls her toward him and makes the most awaited confession.

He tells Jay that he's "not a flirt" and that he actually loves her. He also clears all her doubts about Ella and says that she's the only one he cares about and wants and would fight for her.

Listening to his heart, Jay couldn't stop herself from kissing Keifer, and they again shared a heartfelt kiss until the very end. So, while Yuri kept waiting for Jay to come, the jewel of Section E had already decided to do what her heart wanted.

While Ang Mutya ng Section E has concluded with Episode 16, fans are curious to know if there will be another season. Since there are three books on which the show is based, many believe the story would continue at least for three seasons.

However, Viva Studios hasn't officially confirmed whether there will be an Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2, but looking at the first chapter's ending, a few storylines remain unresolved.

Remember Percy? The guy with blue eyes, who was one of the students of Section E, but was presumed dead? He came out alive, and Jay Jay thought Percy was her brother. When she asked him, Percy said that her brother has been around her, but she doesn't know.

So who is it? Is it Angelo? Or is it Aries? Well, that's exactly what Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 1 didn't explain, and what happened to Percy. Not only this, many AMNSE fans might have forgotten #KitMayo— the gay couple of the class.

The Season 1 finale didn't mention if the two will publicly pursue their relationship or not. Additionally, things are still unclear about Jay's father. So, there's a lot that a potential Season 2 can explore, and fans would undeniably love to watch.
