Season 23 of American Idol has been filled with heartfelt farewells and stirring performances. A number of gifted competitors have seen their journeys come to an end as the competition has gotten more competitive. This is a complete list of all the people who have been eliminated thus far, along with their last performances.

The initial eliminations in the Top 24 Showcase were spread over two nights. Penny Samar failed to advance to the next round after performing Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" on April 13. MKY also sang Miguel's "Adorn" before calling it quits on their trip. The next night, April 14, Grayson Torrence was sent home after performing "Ceilings" by Lizzy McAlpine, while Kyana Fanene sang "I AM (Māori Version)" by Stan Walker before her removal.

Following the Top 20 performances on April 21, the following significant cuts were made. Sammy Johnson's song "Sleepwalker" led to Isaiah Misailegalu's elimination. After performing "It's Not My Time" by 3 Doors Down, Olivier Bergeron also left the competition. The passionate performance of Lady Gaga's "Million Reasons" by Drew Ryn did not garner enough votes to advance.

After performing "All of Me" by John Legend, Baylee Littrell, the son of Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys, was eliminated. Zaylie Windsor's spirited rendition of Paramore's "Still Into You" was insufficient to keep her in the competition. Victor Solomon concluded his Idol adventure by singing the Bee Gees classic, "Stayin' Alive."

The competition is only going to get more intense as the Top 14 continues to advance in American Idol Season 23, and every performance will be given significantly more significance. Contestants are pushing themselves to stand out in a very competitive field, in addition to fighting anxiety with each live event.

Audience engagement, stage presence, and song selection are essential, now more than ever. The pressure to put on standout performances that can garner enough votes to stay in the game is increasing as fan favorites start to emerge. Officially, the journey to the finale has begun.
