Love Is Blind Season 8 has finally come to an end. The singles entered the pod to find their perfect match. In this process of weeks, a few couples could navigate the tricky road and reach the aisle. Four couples walked down in their beautiful wedding dresses to tie the knot, but not all walked out hand in hand. Virginia and Sara said no at the altar, leaving their partners in shock.
After a long journey, Virginia-Devin and Sara-Ben achieved the compatibility to stand at the altar in the presence of their loved ones. However, the ladies could not take the leap of faith when the moment of truth came. Sara and Ben were motivated to learn more about each other as they progressed in their relationship but had differing views on politics, faith, Black Lives Matter, etc.
Something similar happened with Virginia and Devin. They both saw a future with each other, but Virginia was concerned about Devin's lack of interest in faith, politics, and conversation around it. Virginia and Sara, with heavy hearts, said no to the marriage when D-day came. While feelings were hurt, both chimed in during the confessional that marriage meant more than just love for them.
Love Is Blind fans took to Twitter, now known as X, and lauded both ladies for standing up for their beliefs and values.
"Virginia said no to that clown, Sara said no to the other clown, Dave is drunk crying at a bar somewhere over how he can’t marry his sister. All’s well that ends well! #loveisblind #loveisblinds8," a fan wrote.
Another fan commented:
"I will say… I am proud of Sara & Virginia. They don’t compromise their values for a man. In this climate, politics aren’t just politics, it speaks to character and it shouldn’t be overlooked in a marriage. #loveisblind."
"This season may have been dry as hell, but at least we ended it nicely with virginia and sara humiliating two dumb*ss conservative men at the altar #LoveIsBlind, commented another fan.
"Virginia and Sara are a direct reflection of the current political climate Educated, independent women will not settle for men that either don’t vote or don’t care enough to protect their rights good for them," wrote a fan.
"This whole season was so ass Omg only one married couple but I’m always here for conservative men getting humbled. Shout to Virginia and Sara for saying no to these republican freak #LoveIsBlind," wrote another fan.
"Virginia and Sara saying no at the altar because of politics I LOVE WOMEN #LoveIsBlind," wrote another fan.
Who all got married in the finale of Love Is Blind Season 8?
Love Is Blind Season 8 finale witnessed four couples walk down the aisle: Tar, Sara and Ben, Joey and Monica, Virginia and Devin, and Taylor and Dani. Only one couple said "I do" at the altar, the other three just left the wedding venue disappointed.
Taylor and Daniel were the only couple to get married in the Season 8 finale. The couple hit it immediately in the pods with their appreciation for Christmas preparations and gifts. Daniel made Taylor quite sure of their relationship, and his proposal was as romantic as theirs.
However, the Love Is Blind couple did have a blip after they met each other in person, as Taylor felt she knew Daniel from before. However, nothing of that sort was confirmed, and the couple continued to grow in their journal, finally saying yes at the altar. Taylor was overwhelmed by becoming Mrs. Hastings and looked forward to their future together.
Love Is Blind Season 8 finale aired on March 7 on Netflix.
