All of Us Are Dead, the zombie apocalypse Korean series, debuted on Netflix in January 2022. The show has been renewed for a second season, which will arrive in 2026.

It is based on a webtoon, Now at Our School by Joo Dong-Geun and follows a group of high-school students as they try to survive after a Zombie virus spreads in their Hyosan city while they are stranded in their school.

The All Of Us Are Dead finale saw the group meeting with Nam-ra after a four-month time jump. We already know that Nam-ra is a half-zombie, and she reveals that others 'like her' live in the school building.

While she still appears friendly towards her old friends and leaps off the roof to ward off other zombies, Season 2 might surprise viewers by turning Nam-ra against the group. She might have lured them back and plans to eat them with her new zombie friends.

Here is a recap of All Of Us Are Dead Season 1.

How did the four-month leap at the end of All Of Us Are Dead Season 1 set up Season 2?

The show then takes a four-month leap where things are returning to normal, but On-jo is still at the quarantine camp. She sees a fire on the roof of her blown-out school and decides to check who it is. She is joined by her other friends.

They discover that it was Nam-ra who lit the fire, and she managed to survive these four months in their blown-out high school. While she is happy to see her old friends, she reveals that there are others like her living in the school, which hints that the virus has not gone away and zombies and haf-zombies still exist.

The finale ends with Nam-ra leaping off the roof to stop the other zombies from attacking her friends. But can she be trusted? Was the fire a set-up by Nam-Ra to lure her old friends back into the school since she is also a zombie now? Season 1 ends with all these questions, which will probably be answered in the next season.

What happened to the love story between Cheong-San and On-jo in the All of Us Are Dead Season 1 finale?

Fans of All of Us Are Dead were rooting for Cheong San and On-jo, but they might be disappointed with how their story ended in Season 1. Gwi-nam, the bully, was infected with a mutant version of the virus, and he became a half-human, half-zombie.

He appears in front of the group and tries to bite them, but Cheong-san sacrifices himself for On-jo and the group and goes to duel Gwi-nam. He bites Cheong-san, but he still tries to lure the other zombies away. They both fall down an elevator shaft and are engulfed in flames from the bomb explosion.

The Season 1 ending hinted that Cheong-san might be dead, but Yoon Chan-young appeared in the Season 2 announcement, hinting that he somehow survived. However, he turned into a half-zombie. It would be interesting to see what happens to the character in Season 2.

Why was the virus created in the All Of Us Are Dead Season 1?

The All Of Us Are Dead finale saw Jae-Ik taking Byeong-chan, the scientist who created the virus, into police custody and questioning him on why he made that virus.

Baek-Chan reveals that he created the virus for his son so that he could stand up for himself in front of bullies. However, the situation got out of hand. He sacrifices himself to save Jae-Ik and asks him to find his laptop from the school and retrieve information about the virus. In the end, he gets bit, and the show ends, hinting that his laptop might contain the antidote for the virus.
