November 2024 promises to be a great month for Netflix, as there are many new movies and series expected to be released. They include thrillers and crime dramas, historical pieces that may satisfy the different needs of the viewers. Among them is The Madness: a thriller series with Colman Domingo, full of suspenseful twists to be unraveled.
In films, November marks the coming of Emilia Pérez, a crime musical by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard, starring Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez. This month includes other fan favorites, among them Outer Banks and Cobra Kai, carrying on quite intense story arcs and character development.

New shows coming to Netflix in November 2024
Netflix has lined up many thrilling series' this month that run the gamut, from pulse-pounding thrillers to period dramas. The real standout, however, is the intense thriller The Madness, which will premiere on November 28.
Starring Colman Domingo as a media pundit who gets himself into a deadly conspiracy, the eight-part drama promises intense twists, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which describes Domingo's performance as "a tour de force of paranoia and fear."
Outer Banks fans are going to plunge back into the Pogues' mystery-driven world again, this time with the premiere of Season 4, Part 2 on November 7. Promised resolutions have been delivered, as answers to lingering questions that weren't satisfied with the way Part 1 ended, have been awaited for a while. As one of its main cast members, Rudy Pankow would say, "craziness" is in-store.
Animation fans look forward to Arcane: Season 2, and its acts will be there on the 9th, 16th, and 23rd of November. It is a fantasy series that goes into the origins of two phenomenal champions in an imaginary metropolis and has garnered long-range praise because of this style of animation and how complex the narration was.
Another strong return for a second season is on November 22 from The Empress. It shows the drama going back 19th century in Austria as part of romance as well as political intrigue.

New movies hitting Netflix in November 2024
Netflix has its share of great November films, which are full of diversity. There are musical films, biographical dramas, and even adaptations. One of the headliners for the month is Emilia Pérez, which drops on November 13.
Directed by Jacques Audiard, this musical crime drama follows the story of a cartel leader who transforms into an entirely new man through a lawyer, played by Zoe Saldaña. Also starring in the film is Selena Gomez, who delivered what was described as a "strikingly raw" performance by critics following the Cannes premiere, where it won the Jury Prize.
British film Joy will be released on Netflix on November 22. It is a historical drama that narrates the story of IVF technology in the 1960s and 1970s led by a star cast including Bill Nighy, Thomasin McKenzie, and James Norton. The Hollywood Reporter said the film had "timely relevance" with current debates over IVF practices.
The Piano Lesson is another such release, and this one is also coming out on the same day as Joy. This adaptation of a celebrated play by August Wilson stars Samuel L. Jackson and Danielle Deadwyler. Directed by Malcolm Washington, son of Denzel Washington, The Piano Lesson is a drama that powerfully unfolds what a family faces as members struggle with generational heritage and identity through the one thing they share in possession—a piano crafted by enslaved ancestors.
Blockbuster fans, rejoice: Netflix is streaming the Fast & Furious franchise, including The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and Tokyo Drift, starting November 12th. Other highly recommended titles coming to stream in November include Whiplash, The Whale, and Superbad.
