Here are the guest appearances from Yellowstone Season 5 finale

Lainey Wilson as Abby

Rips on the final episode of Yellowstone with country music star Lainey Wilson as the character again and singer once again: Abby had been involved in a romance with Ryan, portrayed by Ian Bohen.

After selling the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, Ryan is once more caught viewing Abby on stage. The star guest performance would feature her single "Hang Tight Honey" from her 2024 album "Whirlwind."

It would lyrically fuse well in the storyline of the character with her talent. This has brought Wilson back to the acting sector, as it has been outside her own music videos for the most part.

Rory Cochrane as Dillard

Rory Cochrane reprised the role of Dillard as the investigator into the deaths of John Dutton and Sarah Atwood. His presence throughout Season 5, Part 2 intensified the pressure on Jamie Dutton, played by Wes Bentley, who comes under intense scrutiny.

The finale finds Jamie's house graced by a fleeting visit from Dillard following an altercation between the young man and Beth, and this scene only adds to the ongoing legal pressures that have surrounded the Duttons. Cochrane is also known for his roles in films "Black Mass," "Hostiles," and "Encounter," lending an air of experience to this character Dillard.

Taylor Sheridan as Travis Wheatley

Rory Cochrane has again taken up the role of Dillard, the investigator into the deaths of John Dutton and Sarah Atwood. His presence throughout Season 5, Part 2 has added further intensity to the weight of Jamie Dutton, played by Wes Bentley, as he comes under scrutiny.

Jamie's house eventually welcomes Dillard for a brief while after a confrontation between him and Beth; thereby, adding to the rest of the legal troubles that have been piling on the Duttons.

Cochrane is known from such films as "Black Mass," "Hostiles," and "Encounter;" thus, this character Dillard has an aura of experience associated with him.

Hassie Harrison as Laramie

Hassie Harrison is back as Laramie and is once again with Walker, who is played by Ryan Bingham. In the end, Laramie joins the ranch hands to help with the burial of John Dutton, attends the graveside service, and hints through interactions with Walker that this time there may be a commitment with a future beyond the ranch.

Harrison's performance is worth adding to the ensemble, with credits in the past including "Tacoma FD," "The Iron Orchard," and "Hart of Dixie."

Ned Vaughn as the Preacher

Ned Vaughn is an unforgettable character who only makes a brief appearance as the preacher at John Dutton's graveside. Instead, his character creates an ambiance of comical relief in this depressing time, mostly when Rip decides to begin filling the grave himself.

Vaughn has an impressive filmography such as "The Hunt for Red October," "Apollo 13," and "Courage Under Fire," mostly known to the average viewer straddled between the decades of the 1990s and up through today.

Such guest Yellowstone appearances will likely fill the almost peaceful narrative canvas to forever close the stories that needed closing and set the stage for future events in the franchise.

Lainey Wilson is the actual celebrity brought in the show, along with Taylor Sheridan's work on the series, which just shows how serious the series gets on the authenticity and depth of its reach in audiences.

The universe of Yellowstone surely expands with upcoming spin-offs and sequels, and these characters and the actors behind them may soon represent more complex facets of the Dutton family's legacy and those connected.
