Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 3 Episode 2 titled Badge #41870 dropped on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 9 PM ET on Fox. This episode featured a challenging case for the MPU when their fellow teammate was kidnapped and later killed.
Captain Nikki's involvement with the Irish mobster (Season 3 Episode 1) turned fatal for her. In this episode, we see a notorious criminal, Raina Stefanos, who, after being released from prison, kidnaps Captain Nikki for revenge. However, Nikki's kidnapping plan was masterminded by the Irish mobster Charles McGannon. The MPU tries their best to reach Nikki, tracing her through the little clues she left. Despite the team's efforts, they fail to rescue Nikki. Later, Jason discovers her lifeless body in a shallow grave.
Out of rage, Nikki's husband Mike (Ryan Broussard) kidnaps Charles and takes him to the spot where he kept Nikki. However, Jason stops Mike from killing Charles. On the other hand, Helen (Diana Bang) and Kemi(Adeola Role) find the key to Nikki's secret locker. They discover some crucial evidence files against the Irish mob. The team bids an emotional farewell to Captain Nikki at her funeral.
