"We're going through this in four separate situations where AI Kevin is being developed in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is the third largest spender, particularly in AI. Their lab is so advanced. I've seen the first iteration of AI Kevin and I like the dude. He never sleeps. We're gonna have some fun with it and use it for several brand deals and we've actually rewritten the deal with SAG."
While on Fox Business' The Big Money Show, Kevin O'Leary talked about one of his AI-related projects from Abu Dhabi.
Referring to how much AI projects have been developing, one of the panelists asked him:
"Allowing technology companies to use works from Hollywood to train their AI models, but I thought that this was actually part of the union deal that they ain't for themselves for years."
Chiming in on that, Kevin stated that it was a "trademark" and "union" deal. He was also a SAG member, as he stated. For the said project, he noted that there were four separate "situations." Talking more about the AI Kevin, Kevin O'Leary revealed that it was in the development phase in Abu Dhabi.
Surprised after learning about the project, another panelist confirmed with the Shark Tank mentor, "just to be clear." Agreeing with him, Kevin O'Leary shared more about the project development.
He recalled that there were countries, including China and the US, and Abu Dhabi was the third country that spent the "largest" amounts. As he recalled their "advanced" lab, Kevin confessed how his first iteration of AI Kevin was.
"Their lab is so advanced, I've seen the first iteration of AI Kevin, I like the dude. I really like him," he confessed.
Listening to him praising the AI Kevin, panelists couldn't stop their laugh. The Shark Tank investor continued:
"What's great about him? He never sleeps. So I'm going to have some fun with it because I'm going to put myself beside him and we'll talk together."
He concluded his observation and updates about AI Kevin and its potential usage. He stated that there were some brand deals that they had "rewritten" with SAG. Despite the "big complicated problem," the Shark mentioned he didn't want to advance the technology.
He recalled being a "SAG" member and how the union ultimately made AI Kevin a SAG member.
