If you're someone who thought TV death scenes couldn’t get any more extreme, The Bondsman Season 1 is here to prove you hilariously wrong. Kevin Bacon stars as a cowboy-style bounty hunter brought back from the dead.
From the very first episode, it’s all flying guts, twisted demons, and jaw-dropping insanity. I went in expecting supernatural fun. What I got was a front-row seat to some of the most outrageously brutal (and sometimes weirdly creative) deaths I’ve seen on TV in a while.
As the series begins, Hub is tasked with recapturing the demons who have escaped Hell. So while he gets another shot at life, love, and even his music dreams, there’s a terrifying catch: if Hub fails in his mission, he’ll be dragged straight back to Hell.
The Bondsman has even introduced a company named Pot O’Gold, which is actually run by Satan- something that really intrigued me. Soon after he steps into the company, Hub's journey as a demon bounty hunter begins. Since the demons are hiding inside human bodies, Hub has to stay alert and cleverly capture them.

Chainsaw to the Head? Okay, that was pretty wild in The Bondsman

As I mentioned earlier, The Bondsman has some of the most violent deaths I've watched on a TV show. So, let’s talk about the ones that left me wide-eyed and mildly traumatized.
There’s a moment in The Bondsman Episode 6 "Revelations" that fully convinced me this show had zero interest in holding back. Hub finds himself cornered during a demon fight: one host down, another still coming at him. And guess what? His shotgun runs out of ammo.
Instead of freaking out or being scared, Hubs stays calm. He quickly looks around, sees a chainsaw nearby, and without hesitating at all, grabs it and cuts right through the demon’s head.
It’s a really extreme and bloody scene. Something you’d expect to see in an old-school, super-violent horror movie. The moment is so wild and over-the-top that I wasn't sure how to react.
What really got me, though, was how casually it all went down. The violent scene had no music or build-up, which is quite uncommon in horror TV shows and films.

Lilith’s kill scene in The Bondsman was straight out of a fever dream
If there’s one death scene that stayed with me, like, haunted my brain was the one featuring Lilith. This demon doesn’t just kill for the sake of killing.
She uses mind control to make her victims do the job themselves, and it’s honestly disturbing in a way most shows wouldn’t dare to touch. Watching a group of men slowly and willingly tear their own jaws off while their wives just stand there, completely entranced? That’s nightmare fuel of the highest order.
And it doesn’t stop there. After being spared by Hub, Lilith goes full villain mode and possesses Maryanne just to control Lucky like a puppet. The Bondsman layers her rage with eerie calmness, making the deaths feel both horrific and strangely beautiful.
It’s not just about the shock factor; it’s about unsettling you from the inside out. If the chainsaw scene made me wince, Lilith’s scene made me sit in stunned silence.
