The show seems to be the perfect blend of history, action, crime, and sports. It follows Hezekiah, a man from Jamaica, who arrives in London in the 1880s along with his friend Alec. The two then fight in some deadly bare-knuckle boxing matches, which were prevalent at the time despite being illegal.
As Hezekiah shoots to fame with his boxing skills, a criminal lady named Queen of the Forty Elephants sets her eyes on him and wants to utilize him for her shady activities. Meanwhile, Sugar Goodson, a revered boxer, feels threatened by Hezekiah’s fame and sets out on a mission to destroy him. The logline for the show reads:
