Saturday Night Live Season 50 Episode 15 saw actress Mikey Madison deliver a monologue where she talked about her childhood and her likes and dislikes. She has recently starred in a Sean Baker's film Anora, which released in 2024. The project received multiple Oscars, and she became the first Gen Z to ever win one.

She performed a monologue at the start of the episode, which introduced her and got the audience to warm up with her presence. Mikey, on Saturday Night Live, first announced her movie Anora, and the audience cheered for her wins.

She claimed that March was a very busy month for her with all the Oscar-winning she had to do, and thus Mikey has decided to go "to bed" in April.

Using sarcasm, the Saturday Night Live host shared that she has a pretty chill vibe in real life and thus, tries to "incorporate that" into her roles. Then we see a montage of her going absolutely crazy and unhinged during her scenes where she is either getting set on fire or being killed, or is screaming.

Navigating the conversation to her childhood, Mikey revealed that she never knew she wanted to be an actress. Explaining, she said:

"Growing up, I actually never planned on being an actor. When I was a kid, I was a very proud, self-proclaimed, horse girl. For those of you unfamiliar, a horse girl is basically a nerd but with long hair. I even did homeschooling so I could spend more time at the barn, with the horses."

Mikey Madison, during the Saturday Night Live monologue, shared a picture of her horse called Thumbelina. The picture was from Halloween, where the two had dressed up in a couple's costume. Joking about the same, Mikey said:

"I honestly don't know what's worse, the fact that I did a couple's costume with my horse or the fact that I created a backstory. So, we were jailbirds arrested for the crime of stealing each other's hearts. And now it's hard to believe I was homeschooled, right?"

Talking further about her childhood on Saturday Night Live, Mikey shared that she has always been close to her siblings. She has a twin brother who appeared on the show to support her.

However, the actress wanted the viewers to guess who it was. They presented 4 men and she asked the audience who they think is her brother. Answering her question, she said:

"If you guessed the one who looks like Ron Weasley on testosterone, you win!"

When her twin brother was highlighted, it was clear as day that the two of them do not look even a tiny bit alike.

Then Mikey talked about her childhood experiences shaping her for her role in Anora. She said on Saturday Night Live:

"You know, in a way, I feel like horseback riding prepared me for doing Anora, but instead of riding horses, I was riding a Russian twink. I performed all my stunts for the film, including all the dancing, so it does kind of bother me when people assume that it wasn't actually me on the pole. 'Cause it was!"

To prove that she was, in fact, the one on the pole, she was presented with one. However, in a funny twist, a man wearing her dress, cut up her pole scene, and did all the dance moves. By the end of it, Mikey was cut back into the video, thus proving that it was indeed her.

This episode of Saturday Night Live aired on NBC and is now available to watch online via Peacock.
