Love is Blind: Germany Reunion aired on Netflix on January 19, 2025. The recently released episode of the reality show featured who were still together and which couples parted ways. As fans witnessed in the social experiment's finale episode, Ilias and Alina were the only couple who got married.

During the show's reunion episode, when the female host, Stephanie Brungs, asked Love is Blind: Germany cast member Ilias about his first year with his wife, Alina, he revealed:

"The greatest thing is to see how beautiful and how sincere a person can be. It makes you see a lot of aspects that you yourself aren't great in. Then you can learn from said person and improve yourself. Be it empathy, a loving attitude. It makes you grow. That is one of my highlights."

Love is Blind: Germany Reunion- Ilias and Alina recall their feelings from their wedding and the first year spent together

Love is Blind: Germany star Ilias, during the show's reunion, revealed how his first year went with Alina. The duo got married on the social experiment's finale. After sharing their vows and feelings for each other, they became the only couple to get married on the show's debut season.

The host, Stephanie Brungs, asked about the moment when the couple shared "three magic words" at the altar. She asked Alina if she was "waiting for it" from Ilias.

"It was beautiful. I know that Ilias holds back with his feelings or has a hard time expressing them. Of course, I could tell the whole time. But hearing it from him was just beautiful. That gave me the security I needed."

Referring to their first year together, Love is Blind: Germany star Ilias shared that it was "beautiful." He mentioned how Alina made her see a "lot of aspects" that he wasn't "great" in.

The male cast member also mentioned how people could learn many things from their life partners. He added that her "loving attitude" made him "grow," and that was one of his highlights during the first year together.

Fans must remember how six couples in the social experiment got engaged. They were:

  • Hanni and Daniel,
  • Alina and Ilias,
  • Sally and Medina,
  • Jen and Marcel,
  • Shella and Pascal,
  • Shila and Tolga.

However, only three couples went ahead with the show's finale: Hanni-Daniel, Alina-Ilias, and Sally-Medina. Of those three, only Alina and Ilias shared their "I do's" during the wedding ceremony and became husband and wife as the experiment ended.
