"A lot of little signs": Love is Blind star Virginia reveals why she and Devin weren't the "perfect match"

Netflix premiered Love is Blind Season 8 Reunion on March 9, 2025. The final episode of the eighth season featured participants including Daniel and Taylor, Devin, Virginia, Joey, Monica, Sara, Ben, Lauren, Dave, Alex, Molly, Meg, Madison, and Mason.

When the hosts, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, asked Virginia about what happened between her and Devin, she decided not to get married. The male host asked if anything happened between when Devin signed the prenup agreement and the wedding.

"I think there were just a lot of little signs leading up to the wedding that we just weren't the perfect match. The night before the wedding, I went to his hotel room and I saw a note from an ex-girlfriend on his nightstand. There was no mention of him seeing this girl, and we had spent the whole day together. So, it just kind of created a little distrust."

Love is Blind Season 8 Reunion: Virginia and Devin share their sides of events about what happened that led up to their wedding day

During the Love is Blind Season 8 Reunion, Virginia mentioned how Devin had a note from his ex-girlfriend a night before their wedding. Listening to Virginia talking about the note, he jumped into the conversation and stated:

"I don't see her in those eyes as her being my ex. She's one of my best friends, and the letter that she wrote me had nothing to do with my relationship with her in the past, or anything like that. It had everything to do with her just being proud of everything that went on, and her being happy that I found Virginia. And Virginia met her."

As Devin mentioned, Virginia met his ex-girlfriend, whom he called "one of his best friends," Virginia agreed that she had met her.

However, when the host asked her if she knew, at the time, that the girl was Devin's ex-girlfriend, Virginia responded:

"No, I didn't know that."

Love is Blind star Virginia added that Devin's mom told her about it "three or four days" before their wedding. She recalled meeting his mother at a basketball game. After she approached, she told Virginia:

"Did Devin tell you that my boss gave you guys a $1,000 check for your wedding present?"

Virginia revealed that she had never heard about the check. The female cast member also stated that she didn't say he "pocketed" the check but was "very weird."

When the female host asked Devin about why he didn't mention the check with Virginia, he responded:

"So, when my mom gave me the check, I was just holding on to it, until we actually got married, and then we got married, we're together. I'm for sure, who I want to be with my relationship, and I know that I wouldn't hide anything from her."

Further on Love is Blind Reunion, when Devin praised Virginia, she confessed that she was witnessing a "very interesting character" referring to him. She recalled not feeling "love or respect" in the past year from him.
