When the high schooler continues her quest and is about to find one of the main clues about Andie's murder, Pip starts receiving threats from the suspect. However, she doesn't stop, and as a result, her most adored pet, Barney, is found dead.

Barney's death severely affected Pip and intensified her curiosity to find the murderer. Pip then discovered that Andie was secretly sleeping with an old man, whom they called the "Secret Older Guy" while searching for him.

Shockingly, the older man turns out to be Andie Bell's English teacher, Elliot Ward (played by Mathew Baynton). Following the turn of events, Elliot is arrested as a suspect in Andie's murder, but Pip isn't convinced that he killed Andie Bell.

In the last episode, Elliot is seen under custody and Pip decides to confront him about Andie's murder. Elliot confessed that he was in a relationship with his student but didn't kill her and in fact, Andie threatened him for money.

However, the two had a little conflict about money and Elliot pushed Andie out of rage, causing her to fall and sustain a head injury. Before Elliot called the Ambulance, Andie Bell ran away.

It was later revealed that Andie was sick of her rude father and decided to leave home. She had made some money by selling drugs, without knowing that one of her buyers was her sister Becca's (Carla Woodcock) r*pist Max Hastings.

After her conversation with Elliot, Pip leaves to confront Becca and tells her that she knows the truth. Becca invites Pip inside her house and finally confesses that the day Andie sustained a head injury and was about to run away, the two sisters got into a conflict.

Becca then pushed away Andie out of frustration and fear, leading her to fall and die of vomiting. Since Andie Bell was already injured, the teenager couldn't survive after another push from her sister.

Becca's confession about pushing Andie Bell leaves Pip heartbroken. She then tells Becca that her sister was already injured after Elliot pushed Andie and that it wasn't completely her fault.

Becca asks Pip if she's interested in knowing where Andie is, and they both leave. Meanwhile, Ravi is searching for Pip after sensing something's wrong. Becca took Pip to a remote place in the woods, where she hid Andie's dead body.

As they go inside the dark place, Becca shows Pip the deep well where she threw Andie and later reveals that she drugged Pip's coffee and will now send her to Andie Bell.

Luckily, Cara and Ravi tracked Pip's location before Becca could hurt her. In the end, Pip confronts Max and tells him she won't stop until the very end.
