Emma Myers' latest teen crime series A Good Girl's Guide to Murder debuted on Netflix in August 2024 and took only a few hours to reach the top 10 TV shows on the streamer. Based on one of Holly Jackson's best-selling trilogy books, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder revolves around Pippa Fitz-Amobi, a resilient teenager, driven to unmask Andie Bell's killer.

Even though the mystery was solved five years ago, presuming Sal Singh (Andie Bell's boyfriend) was guilty, Pip believed he was innocent and the real killer is still out in Little Kilton.

Interestingly, Pip was right as she discovered that Andie Bell was killed by her sister Becca Bell, and Sal Singh was framed by their English professor Elliot Ward who had slept with Andie a couple of times.

The series ended with a total of six intriguing episodes, each revealing a shocker, and now fans are wondering if there will be A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2.

As of now, neither BBC nor Netflix has confirmed a season 2 for Myers' hit crime series, but fans on the internet have expressed a keen interest in exploring more about Pip's quest. So, here are the five reasons why A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2 should be considered:

1) Commendable presence on Netflix

Reaching the top 10 TV shows in the first week of debut is undeniably a big milestone that A Good Girl's Guide to Murder has successfully achieved. The series first premiered in the UK, followed by Netflix's debut on August 1, 2024.

The series is still doing good on the streamer, as fans are enjoying Pippa's mission to find out who killed her former school student Andie Bell. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is filled with unexpected truths about the residents, many of which directly link to Andie's disappearance.

2) A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is financially attractive

This is something the makers must be proud of, as A Good Girl's Guide to Murder didn't require any expensive visual effects and A-listers from Hollywood to make it financially attractive.

The series' cast members have impressed viewers beyond expectations, as they like watching the chemistry between Pip and Ravi and how their relationship gradually becomes strong.

3) The series has a rich source material

Another reason that can be considered to make A Good Girl's Guide to Murder season 2, is Holly Jackson's trilogy. She wrote three books out of which two aren't adapted yet, and this is the chance for BBC and Netflix to renew Myers' triumphant series for two more seasons.

However, we cannot ignore the fact that filming and writing take time, as usually, writers make significant changes while adapting highly acclaimed novels.

4) A Good Girl's Guide to Murder ended with a cliffhanger

In the last episode, Pip discovered that Elliot killed Sal Singh and Becca killed her sister Andie Bell during a conflict. While everyone's relieved that the murder mystery is solved, Pip confronts Max in the end, warning him that she won't stop.

Pip learned that Max r*ped Becca by spiking her drink with the substance he bought from Andie Bell, and this led Becca to develop hatred toward her sister, as she didn't even try saving Andie while she was dying of the fatal head injury.

As Pip confronts Max in the end, she tells him "I'm not going to stop until every single person you've ever hurt gets justice", leaving fans and viewers curious about her next mission, leaving Max Hastings tensed.

Pip also completed her EPQ but is confused about whether she wants admission to Cambridge or not. Since her relationship with Ravi just started, a new season can also explore their relationship dynamics.

5) Impressive fan demand and anticipation
