"A dream come true": Battle Camp star Gio reacts to Selling The OC co-star Polly joining as a fellow campmate

Battle Camp premiered on Netflix on April 23, 2025, and released all the episodes. The second episode of the competition show featured a new campmate's arrival. Before that, the show's first elimination saw Lexi go home. Since then, the host shared that a new campmate would arrive in the morning.

While everyone was wondering who could be the new campmate, it was Selling The OC's Polly Brindle. As part of the Eagle team, she went to their cabin. The rest of the teams were not aware of her arrival.

After getting acquainted with her team members, they took her to the breakfast table to meet fellow campmates. Before her, there was another Selling The OC star, Gio Helou. Witnessing Polly joining the Battle Camp, he shared with the cameras:

"I could not be more excited about Polly joining the camp. Even though she's not on my team, this is just, like, a dream come true."

The second episode of Battle Camp started with Lexi's elimination. She was eliminated after her name was on the Wheel multiple times. It happened after she accidentally dropped one of the flags in the water during the task. As a result, some of the campmates, including Tony, thought she was the weakest player.

Hence, her name was on the Wheel seven times, among a few other campmates' names. After the Wheel stopped on her name, she was sent home.

"Eagles, you have a vacancy in your team. So tomorrow, somebody new will be joining camp and joining team Eagles," said the host.

The next morning, the team Eagles' Georgia, Tony, and Lorenzo discussed who could be their newest teammate.

In her intro video, Selling The OC star Polly said:

"I am the most chameleon, adaptable person, and I can thrive in any situation. I think a lot of people in this competition are gonna underestimate me, thinking that I just totter around wearing bodycon dresses, dripping in diamonds, selling houses, and I can't get down and dirty. Well, I'll show them. All."

Soon, she arrived at the camp and met her teammates. After exchanging pleasantries, they went to the breakfast table, where the rest of the teammates were. They were not yet aware of Polly's arrival in the Eagles team. Polly learned about her co-star, Gio, was at the Battle Camp.

"Oh, me and Gio are like fam," said Polly.

Team Eagles then went to the breakfast table with their newest teammate, Polly. Seeing a new campmate, everyone cheered for Polly while Gio rushed to hug her. Gio said that he "won." When he asked Polly how she felt after arriving at the camp, she said "wild."

When the fellow campmates asked how she and Gio knew each other, Polly revealed they had worked together on "multi-million" deals. She said that they have worked "well" together.
