What We Do in the Shadows season 6 is all set to hit the screens on October 21, 2024. What We Do in the Shadows is an adaptaion of a 2014 film of the same name that starred and was developed by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement.

What We Do in the Shadows season 5 consisted of ten episodes that aired back in the summer of 2023. The pivotal conflict that drove most of the action that season was Guillermo pining to be a vampire.
The first episode of the season was titled 'The Mall' and saw Guillermo trying his best to bribe Derek so that the latter turns him into a vampire. But, things don't go as Guillermo had planned and chaos ensues.
Although Derek repsonded to Guillermo's request, he didn't take into account the fact of the latter's Van Helsing blood which didn't allow the vampiric traits to fully flourish, resulting in Guillermo becoming a sort of hybrid vampire who still had enough of his human characteristics about him.
During the second episode titled 'A Night Out with the Guys', Laszlo came to Guillermo's rescue when he unearthed the bind Guillermo was in.
As a remedy, Laszlo performed experiments on Guillermo to ascertain the extent of Guillermo's vampirism. However, this experiment ended up creating several strange Guillermo-like creatures during the seventh episode 'Hybrid Creatures'.
Eventually the show leads us into believing that since Guillermo didn't let Nandor initiate him as a vampire, and since this was considered to be a grave betrayal, Guillermo must now suffer the consequence and must keep his vampirism a secret.
Moving on to the ninth episode, 'A Weekend at Morrigan Manor', Nandor comes to know of Guillermo's betrayal and is, as can be expected, furious. He vows to kill Guillermo and be done with him. Guillermo is scared and decides to flee the scene, retreating to an obscure motel on the tenth episode, 'Exit Interview'.
Subsequently, in a shocking twist, Nandor realizes that he doesn't want to kill Guillermo afterall and he diverts his wrath to Derek whom he ends up killing. This act of Nandor also ends the curse for Guillermo and restores their previous status quo. Phew!
What happened to Nadja on What We Do in the Shadows season 5?
The fifth season saw Nadja suffering from a series of unexpected and unfortunate events which she believe to be the influence of an ancient curse or hex that had somehow landed on her. She then goes on to try several remedies to get rid of the hex.
For instance, she tried teaching a night class in the seventh episode. Eventually, she realized that she was liked by the other vampires on the show in episode nine of What We Do in the Shadows season 5.
