Highly anticipated social experiment Love is Blind: Germany recently aired on Netflix, introducing singles. The cast members are looking forward to finding their potential romantic connection.

As fans are well aware, the show features various phases, the first one being blind dates in the pods. Male and female participants are sent on various blind dates in the beginning.

As the show progresses, they find their potential matches as they start to bond with their dates. Later on, participants can choose with whom to go on blind dates. However, while going on dates, they don't get to see their partner until they form a deep and meaningful connection and decide to get engaged.

Netflix's official synopsis for Love is Blind: Germany describes the show as:

"For some, love is blind. For others, the mind gets in the heart's way. These hopeful German singles experience love and growth - and a little heartbreak."

Only after agreeing to engage with the potential to get married are participants allowed to meet their partners physically. The first four episodes of Love is Blind: Germany feature singles exploring their connections and finding their matches.

By the end of the first phase, the social experiment saw five engaged couples:

  • Hanni and Daniel,
  • Shella and Pascal,
  • Jen and Marcel,
  • Alina and Ilias,
  • Shila and Tolga.

The couples are then sent to the show's next phase. Engaged couples explore their physical connection with their partner and get to know each other better. Later on, they will also get to see fellow engaged couples and interact with their former connections from the pods.
