When Dean and Sam were investigating one of the supernatural creatures in season 9, episode 5, they could not find any suspects. Or rather, any human suspects. They thought that a dog present during the crime scene would be able to shed some light on the matter. So they decide to take the dog with them.

With the help of Kevin, Sam finds an Inuit spell that would help to speak to dogs. Dean takes the spell, and all hell breaks loose. He tries to speak to the dog but does not understand anything. All of a sudden, he started to hear the dog. Then he started to behave like a dog. When they went to investigate more at the crime scene, Sam told Dean to leave the dog behind as the windows were open.

However, he started protecting and said that the dog did not like it. He then takes the dog with him. Later, when their investigation was complete, he opened the cages of the animals and freed them. This was one of the kindest moments of Dean in the series.


2)Dean’s take on Larping in season 8 episode 11

We know Dean is hardly a softy. He means serious business and is all about hunting and protecting people. To see a unique side of him is rare. In season 8, episode 11, when Dean and Sam were searching for Charlie, he found out that she was at a camp. When they reached the place, they found that the camp was all about LARPing.

Initially, they were surprised and could not understand the situation. However, when Charlie made them understand, Dean readily accepted the situation without judging her. This was a kind moment for him. As usual, Dean would have made a sarcastic comment, but here, his compassion for Charlie was kind.

Everyone thought that eventually, Dean would take Jack’s life. Even when Castiel tries to make him understand that Dean is not thinking right, Dean constantly says that he wants Jack dead. He told Castiel that Jack was dangerous, and Castiel had already known it for a long time.

Later, when Dean has his gun and is aiming at Jack, everyone tries to stop him. Sam tries to tell God to help Dean and asks him to stop. It almost seemed like Dean would pull the trigger and kill Jack. However, in the end, he does not pull the trigger. He decides not to kill Jack and saves him instead. This was one of the kindest moments of Dean. Even when God tells Dean that he will bring their mother back, Dean refuses to kill Jack.

In season 5, episode 22, when Michael took over Adam’s body instead of Dean, things took an unexpected turn. Dean tried his best to stop Michael and Lucifer. When he reached the spot, Lucifer told Dean that he had made a foolish decision. However, instead of stepping back, he tried to apologize Ato dam.

Even though Adam was taken under Michael’s control, he tells him that he is sorry for what he did to him. There are very few moments when Dean truly apologizes. This was one of his kindest moments. In season 12, episode 11, when Dean woke up in the forest after getting hexed, it was one of the funniest moments in the series. He woke up and found a bunny beside him.

He quickly picked the bunny up and greeted it. It was one of the kindest moments of Dean. We usually see his tough and rough side. However, seeing his soft side in moments like this resonated with the viewers. In season 1, episode 18, we see a child, Dean, pouring milk for Sam and pouring him a type of liquid textured food for Sam to eat. Sam tells Dean that he does not want to eat the food Dean serves and wants Lucky Charms instead.

Dean tells him that he wants the lucky charms, and Sam has to eat what he is given. However, he gives Sam the Lucky charms instead of eating them himself. Even though he himself was just a child, he gave his food to his brother. It was truly one of the sweetest and kindest moments of Dean. It showed that even when their father was hardly present in their lives, Dean tried his best to make Sam happy and feel protected.


8)Making Lisa forget about him in the season 6 episode 21

In season 6, episode 21, when Lisa and Ben are captured by Crowley’s demons, Dean gets a call from Crowley. Dean tries to negotiate with Crowley so that he leaves them. However, Crowley was not convinced. Later, when Dean goes to save Lisa and Ben, Lisa is left injured. Dean takes Lisa to the hospital, waiting for her to get better.

At this moment, Castiel appears and saves Lisa. Dean then tells Castiel to help him make Lisa and Ben forget everything about him. Lisa wakes up and forgets who Dean is. This was one of the kindest moments of Dean. He knew that being associated with Dean could cause harm to Lisa and Ben. Even though he could have stayed with them and had a happy life, he chose to let them go and be safe.


9)Dean makes a burger for Sam in season 8 episode 14

In season 8, episode 14, when they stay at the bunker, Dean is extremely happy that they finally have a proper place to stay and not move around every now and then. He made a burger for Sam. Sam was surprised that Dean had made something to eat.
