90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 revealed each couple's journey during their time on a retreat where they addressed the problems in their relationship. Through group therapy and one-on-one discussions, the couples attempted to resolve their issues. Couples who appeared this season include Bini and Ari, Brandon and Julia, Jasmine and Gino, Rob and Sophie, and Stacey and Florian, alongside Natalie and Josh.
In the newly released Season 2 episode 16, the fate of each relationship is determined as the retreat is about to conclude. With the recommitment ceremony just around the corner, the couples revealed where they stand. Jasmine and Gino told the group that they were officially considering open marriage. Meanwhile, Josh revealed that he and Jasmine had decided to part ways after being together for three years.

On 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 episode 16, Jasmine and Gino told the group that they were ready to take a major step in their relationship. As viewers already know, Gino was against the idea of an open marriage; however, after thinking this decision through, he realized this would help them strengthen their connection. Jasmine was the first one to reveal this information to the rest of the cast; she said:
"We made a decision to move forward with open marriage. It's like a new beginning for us."
Gino admitted that he never thought of agreeing with Jasmine about the open marriage situation. However, now he wants to have written guidelines and a contract to ensure all parties are on the same page regarding this relationship arrangement. He said that it was important for everyone, including Matt, to be transparent about their boundaries as well; he continued:
"I never thought I would be in that situation I was totally against it then I thought about it more and you know I know Jasmine has needs right and I felt like I needed to take action now."
Later in the episode, in a shocking twist, the 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 cast member Josh decided to end things with Natalie. He stated that he realized he had been hurting Natalie unintentionally and didn't want to continue this cycle. Josh said:
"I do love you and care for you but I do have to let you go. I don't want to string her along anymore if I'm the problem I'm sorry. I came from a place of like wanting to help but I think I may have hurt more by doing that."
