The rumor mill has been churning overtime for 90 Day: The Last Resort stars Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina.

The couple first captured viewers' hearts with their unlikely love story (think: go-go dancer meets farm boy via video call in South Korea) and have become fan favorites on the 90 Day franchise.

Now appearing on 90 Day: The Last Resort, a spin-off where troubled couples work on their relationships at an Arizona resort, Brandon and Julia find themselves once again in the spotlight – but this time, it's their differing views on parenthood taking center stage.

90 Day: The Last Resort’s Julia and Brandon share their views on having a baby

In what could only be described as a good old-fashioned case of "he said, she said," Brandon and Julia have taken dramatically different stances on the baby question. In May of 2023, Julia took to Instagram with an emotional post that essentially said "thanks, but no thanks" to the constant barrage of baby-related questions.

She firmly stated that society's expectations shouldn't dictate the timeline for having children, whether it's been three years or a decade since saying "I do."This could be her rather sweet way of saying 'stop asking, for the love of God'.

On the other hand, Brandon seems to be singing a different tune that vaguely resembles lullabies. In his own social media post, he hinted at being ready to start trying for a baby, cryptically mentioning "a conversation with Julia" – though fans of 90 Day: The Last Resort couldn't help themselves but wonder if his parents, notorious for their involvement in the couple's affairs, had something to do with this sudden baby fever.

Fellow 90-Day star Natalie Mordovtseva decided to play amateur detective. During what started as a seemingly peaceful conversation in Russian between the two women, Natalie dropped the mother of all conversation bombs:

"Are you pregnant?"

Talk about subtle as a sledgehammer! When Julia denied it, Natalie helpfully pointed out that she'd gained weight – because that's exactly what every woman wants to hear, right?

Julia's response? A perfectly justified "F*** you, I'm not fat!"

Adding fuel to the already flaming out-of-control fire, Julia has been particularly enigmatic on social media lately. In November, she shared a Reel on Instagram featuring Brandon with the tantalizingly vague caption about social media not being reality and having something important to share. Her recent social media activity sure does paint her as a conundrum wrapped in a riddle, to put it simply.

One thing's for certain – between Brandon's rampant baby fever, Julia's resistance to societal pressure (to conceive?), and their ever-present in-law situation, this storyline isn't going away anytime soon.
