How the Earthquake May Impact David & Annie's Future in Thailand

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé love David and Annie. Naturally, many were worried about their safety. Their video update was comforting, but it also raised questions. Will they stay in Thailand long-term?

The 90 Day Fiancé couple originally moved to Thailand so Annie could have their baby there. She successfully conceived through IVF in July 2024. Then, on March 11, 2025, they welcomed their daughter, Minthira. With their baby now born and likely holding Thai citizenship, their main reason for staying in Thailand has been fulfilled.

Now, they might be considering their next steps. Arizona has always been home for them. Returning could offer more stability. While Thailand is affordable and close to Annie’s family, safety comes first. This earthquake may have made them think twice about staying.

90 Day Fiancé Stars David & Annie Continue to Thrive Despite Challenges

Despite the frightening earthquake, David and Annie remain optimistic about their future. Their journey on 90 Day Fiancé has been filled with ups and downs, but they have always found a way to overcome obstacles together.

David, who has been working as a real estate agent, recently closed a major $1.3 million deal in the United States. This success demonstrates his ability to maintain a thriving career, even while living abroad. His financial stability could give the couple flexibility regarding their next steps. If they choose to return to the U.S., David’s career could continue seamlessly, while Annie would still have the option to visit her family in Thailand whenever needed.

Their recent video also captured one of the most real conversations they’ve had with their fans. The couple's willingness to be transparent about their experiences strengthens their connection with their audience. Whether they decide to stay in Thailand or move back to the U.S., their bond remains strong.

Is Thailand Still the Right Place for David & Annie?

David and Annie love living in Thailand. They enjoy the culture, the food, and being near Annie’s family. Thailand’s low cost of living has also made things easier for them.

But natural disasters like this earthquake might change things. They were lucky this time, but what if another disaster happens? Right now, they seem content to stay. However, they might start thinking about backup plans. If they move back to the U.S., they’ll have more security—especially when it comes to their daughter’s future.

For now, they haven’t announced any plans to leave. They’re taking it one day at a time. Their focus is on their daughter and staying safe.
