90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7 would seem to suggest that love isn't always a straight path to happily ever after, more so in the case of the four couples still present on the show.
The latest season of TLC's hit reality show, which premiered on September 1, 2024, began with eight hopeful couples meeting for the first time after connecting online. However, by Episode 17 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which aired on December 22, 2024, half of these starry-eyed romantics have called it quits.
Vanja Grbic and Božo Vrdoljak, Brian Muniz and Ingrid Rezende, Rayne Fernandez and Chidi Ikpeamaeze, and Loren Allen and Faith Gatoc Tulod have all seen their dreams of obtaining that coveted K-1 visa — which would give the non-US partners 90 days to marry their American sweethearts — dissolve faster than a sugar cube in hot tea. They chose to break up.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days: Who all have broken up?
Rayne and Chidi
In the current season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, this would seem like the most dramatic breakup, and that's saying something! Rayne and Chidi's split has turned into a fullblown he-said-she-said spectacle. Rayne dropped bombshells about Chidi allegedly paying his girlfriend to create fake storylines and using his disability for manipulation.
In turn, Chidi fired back with accusations of infidelity. The plot thickened when Rayne took aim at TLC , claiming unfair editing because — apparently — the drama about their spat and break-up should have had a more complex layer.
Brian and Ingrid
Sometimes, words can't be unsaid. Brian learned this the hard way after questioning Ingrid's motives for wanting to move to the U.S. Who would have thought that suggesting your partner loves your passport more than your personality could be hazardous to your relationship?
Ingrid was understandably hurt after Brian's insinuation that she was a gold digger. She decided she'd rather strike out on her own than continue defending her feelings. While Brian left the door open for reconciliation, Ingrid seemed more than ready to close that chapter and say 'boy bye.'
Vanja and Božo
They met on a dating app during her Eastern Europe adventure but Vanja probably didn't expect Božo to disappear, only to resurface later.
The red flags were clearly up: Božo introduced Vanja as "just a friend" during a cooking class, he waited until the last minute to tell his mother about her, and finally admitted he took part in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days just for a good time. Vanja showed impressive resilience, and decided to continue her Croatian vacation — minus the basketball player baggage.
Loren and Faith
If secrets were currency, Loren would be wealthy — ironically, in contrast to his actual financial situation. After initially hiding his interest in polygamy, homelessness, and child support issues, Loren proposed to Faith, who accepted despite the revelations. However, their love story hit a wall when they discovered same-sex marriage wasn't recognized in Thailand or the Philippines.
The final nail in the coffin of their relationship on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days was Loren's unfortunate inability to meet the K-1 visa sponsorship requirements, prompting Faith to promptly return the engagement ring and end their chapter.
These breakups serve as a reminder that while 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of romance and drama, love beyond borders is often paved with unexpected challenges, cultural misunderstandings, and sometimes, uncomfortable truths.
