Screenwriter, Producer, and Director Greg Berlanti on receiving the 2024 Governors Award

Acclaimed writer, producer, and director Greg Berlanti received the Governor's Award at the 2024 Emmys. His work, which pioneered LGBTQ+ representation, has left its mark on television and inspired generations of storytellers to amplify diverse voices and narratives.

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards 2024 is the second installment of the Emmys this year. The 75th also occurred this year in January since that one was postponed from last September as there were the Hollywood-wide strikes.
