The Ahsoka panel from Lucasfilm was featured prominently at the ongoing Star Wars Celebration in Japan. Among the Ahsoka panel were luminaries such as Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Hayden Christensen, and Rosario Dawson. Together, they spilled several intriguing insights and revelations about what audiences can expect from the second season of Ahsoka.

Here's everything that we know.

What are the 5 Ahsoka Season 2 revealations?

During the Star Wars celebration, a new concept trailer was screened that spilled the following interesting revelations. Keep reading to learn more.

1) The heroes will be up against enemies from two different galaxies

The trailer presented Ahsoka and Sabine riding what appeared to be Howlers against the backdrop of Peridea. They are seen locked in battle against the raiders, while on the other hand, the New Republic is said to be warding off Captain Enoch and a unit of Nightsisters. This goes on to indicate that in the second season our familiar heroes will be up against these two enemy groups that hail from separate galaxies.

2) The Nightsisters will prevail

The trailer suggested that throughout the course of the second season, the Nightsisters will play an important role and will be allied to the Imperial Remnant as well as Admiral Thrawn. The forgotten Dathomir kingdom could be at the center of this resultant conflict.

3) Ahsoka and Sabine will resist Ancient Machines

The trailer featured several elements of concept art that had humongous machines or droids fighting against the heroes. There is speculation that these giant machines might be somehow tied to the Mortis Gods and may even be protecting Baylan Skoll's quest. Dave Filoni further agreed that the second season will continue to reference the Mortis Gods.

4) Admiral Ackbar will be pitted against Admiral Thrawn

Filoni revealed that Admiral Ackbar will be reprising his command in the second season and therefore will have to face off against Admiral Thrawn. This was repudiated when the concept art trailer showcased dogfights between Imperial and New Republic starfighters in the vicinity of a huge capital ship. Additionally, Ghost and Phantom II were also in attendance during the fight.

5) Grand Admiral Thrawn will play a prominent role

The concept art trailer indicated in its closing moments that Thrawn is slated to be the big bad guy of the show's upcoming second season. This is evident since Thrawn appeared in the trailer after the end of the last piece of narration, and his face was superimposed on the closing frames. The trailer ended with a ravaging explosion, and in many ways this served as a reference to the original trailer of Empire Strikes Back.

David Filoni fanned the flames of speculation when he admitted that Grand Admiral Thrawn was poised to be the overarching villain and had the odds in his favor. Although there isn't an official release date, Ahsoka season two is expected to arrive sometime in 2026.
