1) Goosebumps - The Vanishing
Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller created Goosebumps: The Vanishing. Letterman and Hilary Winston are the co-showrunners of the television series. It is based on R.L. Stine's Goosebumps book series that Scholastic published. The official description of the show reads:
"Goosebumps: The Vanishing” begins with fraternal twins Devin and Cece adjusting to life with their recently divorced dad, Anthony. When the duo discovers a threat stirring, they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends — Alex, CJ and Frankie — find themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994."
The show drops on Disney+ on January 10, 2025.
2) Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman
Arriving on January 29, 2025, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman is an animated show that chronicles Peter Parker's path to heroism, using a style that honors the character's early comic book origins and a journey unlike any other we have ever seen. Set in a different reality where Norman Osborn, rather than Tony Stark, serves as Peter Parker's mentor, the series delves into Parker's early years as Spider-Man and his origin story.
3) A Real Bug's Life Season 2
A Real Bug's Life season 2 drops on Disney+ on January 15, 2025. The National Geographic documentary chronicles nine separate micro bug worlds, from the fast-legged tiger beetle escaping the heat of Borneo's beaches to the magical transformation of a damselfly on a British pond to the Smoky Mountain luna moth, whose mission is to grow wings, find love, and pass on his genes all in one short night.
4) Captain America: Brave New World
After getting the suit and shield in Marvel Phase 4's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson serves as Steve Rogers' successor in Captain America: Brave New World, his first big-screen debut in the MCU.
Joining Anthony Mackie as the title Avenger is Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns, a past ally of the Incredible Hulk, Carl Lumby as Isaiah Bradley, and Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres. Harrison Ford plays Thaddeus Ross, replacing the late William Hurt. The film hits the theatres on February 14, 2025.
5) Star Wars: Skeleton Crew's final two episodes
This Star Wars spinoff show narrates the tale of four children who must find their way back home to their planet after getting lost in the Star Wars galaxy. While the seventh episode will drop on Disney+ on January 7, the eighth and final episode will be available for streaming on January 14.
